Hi Folks:

I know there are probably many threads on this guy, but I am not good a researching. However, I have come to like the Turian Sentinel and I an looking for the proper build for Gold--not that I will be playing on Gold any time soon.

Here what I have so far.

I have searched the internet looking a proper build and I have found that suggest the following:

AR - Mattock / Harrier / Hurricane (The Hurricane i don't have in my inventory.)

They also suggest the Falcon, and Scorpion. It was also suggested not to exceed +160 weight.

Habitually I use my powers a lot and therefore I need a faster cooldown. That's why I have only been using my one AR. Part of it that i don't quite understand the cooldown and the weight-bearing which effects the cooldown. I also know that having played with the Turian Sentinel for a while now whenever i get into crowded, tight situations where I am surrounded the game automatically pulls the rocket launcher. As such I am constantly struggling to get my AR back which always results in my immediate death.

That all being said, I also rely on my AR. I am not yet proficient at headshots--unless I am up close and personal with say, a Geth Prime. Then I can usually get the headshots, while pummeling him with Warp. However, he is the only boss i will do that with. All the others I run around trying to stay out of the line of fire, while trying to take them down.

More often than not too, I spend much of my time fumbling around my keyboard like a Hen pecking for food--especially if I am being overrun, which I usually am. I would appreciate some guidance here. Thank you.

I usually go with something like this.

As a turian, he makes pretty much every weapon a good match for him. Not as much as his soldier brother, of course, but still. Valkyrie is a good match because of his passives, so when you learn to dole out headshots, things, especially mooks, will die very fast. Due to warp debuff, even bosses go down very fast, and that's before applying incendiary cheese.

Other good matches are Arc pistol(you can never go wrong with Arc) or Suppressor with cranial trauma mod, with Locust as secondary. Always try to go for headshots, since your damage output with skyrocket that way. Due to Overload, you have a nice crowd control/stun power, so that shouldn't be too hard. If you find yourself in a sticky situation, detonate Tech Armor. It will momentarily stun just about everything, enabling you to run away and get a moment of breath. Also, saving a missile here and there is not a bad idea.

He's a team player, since he has both universal detonators in the game and two of the best powers. Every team is happy to have Tsent on the team, since he can detonate just about everything for them. You see Atlas getting hit by Reave? Hit it with Warp for that juicy BE. Batarian soldier just threw a grenade into the spawn? Detonate that FE!

That said, he's more than capable of taking care of himself. Due to him not having a dodge move, be sure to be always on the move and abuse the hell out of RHA.

And above all, always stay classy/fabulous. You're playing turian sentinel, after all :)

The deal is simple - If Shields --> Overload --> Headshot

If Armor --> Warp --> Shoot

Yeah, Arc Pistol may be better, but c'mon - Sabur bruh

Oh, before I go....TECH ARMOR!

First thing any PC player needs to do is get comfortable -- yes, like that. ;) Map keyboard keys to the proper actions you want performed in the game so that you aren't getting confused with the key layout. Lastly, find a good posture for when you play, because if you are using the wrong fingers for the wrong keys, you're going to find a hard time multitasking in tight situations or just in general.

For the Turian Sentinel, I like to use Arc Pistol mainly on him, but shotguns will do just as well. The Wraith, Claymore, Venom, Eviscerator, Raider, Piranha, Crusader, GPS, Graal, and Disciple are options. Personally, for shotguns, I use the Wraith, Venom, Raider, GPS, Piranha, and Graal, on him.

EDIT: My TSent build that use for all purposes

What he said, though between the Saber & Arc Pistol, you'll have to see what you're more comfy with and o with that.

Also, don't listen to anyone who emphasizes a specific % of cooldown as a "need"; the difference between 160% and say, 120% is negligible at best, so don't obsess over it. Please.

Yeah, it doesn't really matter for the Fat Senturian. You can sport a Claymore on him with no problems. You're mostly gonna be shooting anyway, Warp works for 10 seconds and you have nothing to detonate it with, so you don't have to spam it. Overload? 3 or 4 seconds doesn't make much difference as 1 overload will take out 2 guys (at least)

I have been using a small variatin of this valkyrie build for a recent gold solo: with a power amp IV and Tech armor power boost, u can destroy phantom shield in one hit :

http://kalence.drupa...34N51364!B09A3G

plus power damage on warp 4 for more cheese ! (even out of the solo, u cant detonate your own BE)

Faster shield regen means less cowering behind cover and more pew, pew. Resulting in great defence through offence.

As I said - on paper. In practice the things maybe different depending how much are you getting hit, your play style, do you have Adrenaline 3 and so on.

This idiot's still here?  Ugh.

I see you have a PPR.  You can try this out for funzies if you like.
Warp + Warp Ammo = boss killer
Fitness + Tech Armour + Cyclonic = tanker
Just avoid syncers.
Rank 5 of Tech Armour is your choice.

Incendiary/Warp Cheese.

http://kalence.drupa.........61!EF955G

Overload Shields, then Warp (Depending on Distance to Target, you may need a Power Efficiency Mod to pull off Tech Bursts like this), then shoot, then stop shooting, and watch the Incendiary cheese clock up.

He's also a little bit sturdier than most of the builds above.

Saber and Harrier are also viable alternatives for Incendiary cheese, though you probably wont get Tech Bursts with them at level 1. Due to your manifest state, whatever you use basically has to be an AR for the Piercing Mod.

...I just advocated Incendiary glitching, do I get a ban/warning now?

Turians know how to build guns, calibrate guns, and use guns. Why wouldn't a Turian Sentinel use the Phaeston??
