Turians know how to build guns, calibrate guns, and use guns. Why wouldn't a Turian Sentinel use the Phaeston??

 

Like I said - I like the build for the Phaeston, since it's a Turian made weapon (same with Krysae and probably the Vindicator)

 

The Phaeston is unpopular, because it does like no damage

Turians don't make bad guns. If the Phaeston is performing badly, then the problem is the shooter

It's a good thing we have the Saber, and the Claymore.

I also like the sound of the Revenant, I just wish it was a little more accurate.

I run a very similar TurianSent build to what Arkhne suggested, on gold just fine. Although with different guns often, and I don't take shield damage multiplier on rank 6.

Runs nicely, is sturdy enough to keep me alive (less worrying), and versatile.

But I did, I took me 80 minutes for a Platinum solo on Condor with a Phaeston on a Cabal

This one. I needed it to be sturdy enough for me, so that i can handle my own, and it also gives me other options than Harrier cheesery. Oh yeah, I'm a noob, with halfbad eyesight on top, so I need all the crutches I can get.

added: also Lancer but mine's still low level (as is my harrier anyway).

Mordokai already said almost everything I meant to say about how to play the Tsent, I'd just add that some good recommendations for guns are the lancer, harrier, Indra, collector sniper, hurricane and the arc pistol.

I've witnessed Clyde with th TSent a time or 2 and believe me knows how to play the fatty. So, take his advice.

 

I have just been using the Arc Pistol exclusively while currently rebuilding my Turian friend. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I am managing. For mods I have the extended barrel and the power do-hickey. I don't have the piercing mod for this weapon yet.

 

I also changed my keybinding to where the melee is now "E." Close at hand. To that end, I am only successful 1 out of 10 times with the melee. I am either too far away or I am not directly in front of the enemy: or, something.

 

I tend to flail around much of the time especially when I am on silver, trying to avoid getting killed by all those bosses that I hate: And, there are many. Plus, it is difficult for me to stay high and away. That and being blindsided by getting caught in a cross fire. Plus, my headphones aren't such that I can hear enemies behind me. My elderly feeble mind thinks I am being hit from the front, so I tend to stay focused on what is in front of me--to my own detriment.

 

The other thing that I find difficult is getting out of cover, to avoid being swarmed. It's like I get stuck to whatever I have taken cover behind. That also tends to result in my immediate death. Therefore, I stay pretty much stay in the open which is also stupid and dangerous. Still, I do have some successes and I have fun doing it. Moreover, I enjoy the comradery of everyone who plays the game: and, even here in the forum.
