We talked about it on Origin a couple of days ago. It should be 4 in fitness for shields/health and 4 in tech armor for damage resistance. Turian veteran goes for stability and weapon damage. You can take head shot damage but you actually have to hit the head. It is not that hard if you use arc pistol but you need to charge it fully. In my experience, your aim is quite good in general. At least you always aim for the head and upper torso as much as I was able to notice. Or you can take power damage, it is fine as well.

I think we talked over warp previously and overload as well. Just in case, overload goes to chain overload, neural shock and another chain overload for maximum number of targets.

With Turian sentinel, it is hard to do it wrong. All his powers are good.

Well, people always find some way to mess it up though. I just played a game with Valkyrie without tech armor AND drell vanguard without cluster grenades. Valkyrie was hosting and did very well, basically carried the game and killed everything very fast. He probably had cyclonics IV. Still, 4 ranks in tech armor are better IMO. But drell did not fare so well. He died multiple times every wave and was obviously lagging as well.

The only thing that I changed was the headshot. I just wanted to see how it worked. I can always change back to my original build.

Lancer is another fun gun on him. Turian passives plus a stability amp tames the Lancer's recoil. Of course you lose out on Adrenaline but ehhh... You'll be OK.

Try to Tech Armor the last enemy on every wave for extra style points.

Stability amp? I use the Lancer on kits with no stability mods, amps or passives and the recoil is super light

I've noticed a lot of fear of recoil in ME3 MP. There are guns that pretty much need it (Hurricane comes to mind, though I hear PC/Mouse handles it better. Also, Incisor), Lancer isn't one of them, it's very controllable, and stability wastes a mod slot on the gun, and a consumable slot (though, on many kits, it's just a way to save on adrenaline mods, which is fine, those are rare, and stability comes in abundance)

The Lancer and Hurricane are 2 guns that dont need recoil damper at level X on any kit on PC, wouldn't know about consoles

If recoil of any gun is a problem start shooting at the feet or mid body as it rises until it culminates in a head shot, problem solved

Git Gud  :)

This also goes for any gun you put a scope on, You can snipe across the map with the Harrier, Lancer, and other similar guns just as good without a scope and save that precious mod slot for something better that increases your overall DPS

Well my Drell Adept is currently like this on two accounts. It's far from optimum and I don't care.

I use stability on help on my Lancer too. In fact, I use stability help on most weapons, including Harrier.

I changed my Turian Sentinel build, got into playing on silver this morning, using my Arc Pistol, and I could not hit the broad side of the Titanic, for God sake. So what do I do, I promote the Turian to go back to the original build and I still can't hit the darn Titanic today. Obviously I can't blame the game or the weapon, just me. Even on bronze I am having problems today. Best to sit it out until latter in the day, I suppose. Then again, there are maps and enemies that I hate and therefore I do very poorly on.

It helps, sure, but it's not needed. And more piercing/ammo or damage is better.

I'll partially agree with the first part. And sure the second part is better, but far from needed and that extra dmg loss is made up by more consistent headshot dmg. As in, have you ever tried the Lancer on a Volus without hard cover and trying to aim for above waist instead of center of mass on a moving left/right target across Hyrda where the pugs like to hang toward everyone's favourite spawn... and with a controller?

Just as an aside, I find myself making small aiming corrections by tap-hitting strafe left/right, let's me concentrate more on the vertical axis. (This ofc is all happening in fractions of a second.)

I imagine on a controller that would help even more than mouse/keyboard.

I never played ME3 on lolconsole. But I do play Volus with a Lancer with no stability and I have no problems whatsoever getting headshots. 20 is always guaranteed,

A lot of console aiming is indeed done with movement instead of aiming (left stick vs right stick). It sounds silly, but it really is better (at least on console).

Yes, I do this too sometimes.

Oh... you only play with mice too...

Computer-Helper---Mouse-Troubleshooting.

And getting 20 headshots isn't the answer I'm looking for. It's which can you get more headshots with.

It stops @ 20, so I can't tell. But it's not a huge difference. Plus - more damage/ammo is better against armored bosses.

Turians know how to build guns, calibrate guns, and use guns. Why wouldn't a Turian Sentinel use the Phaeston??

Oh please, they slapped a scope on a grenade launcher and called it a sniper rifle

And Phaeston sounds like it's got a half dozen loose bolts rolling around and is about to fall apart in my hands

Turian military superiority is a bad joke that no one is falling for anymore

Max passive and max Overload.  I would max Warp as well, but can potentially skip rank 6 if you really need the points somewhere else (like for maxing Overload damage via TA Rank 5).

Split TA and Fitness however you want.  3/5 or 4/4 being the most popular.

As far as discussions about recoil go, the only weapons that come close to needing stability are burst fire weapons like Argus and Incisor.  You can work around recoil for basically everything else.

TSe is decent with a lot of weapons, the ones I like the most on him are probably Claymore or Wraith with honorable mention to Suppressor.

The Turian Sentinel is literally usable with any weapon on Gold.  He's so fantastic.  I tend to think he works best with weapons that have stability issues but not accuracy issues (e.g., Lancer good, BPP not as much).  Because of his durability, you can even use a Stability consumable if you want to get 100% stability or close to it, which is important for some weapons (especially burst fire). Here is a list of weapons that I have used on the TSent on Gold and had fun while also doing fairly well:

- Lancer (my favorite)

- Argus (shockingly fun)

- Vindicator

- Saber

- Mattock

- PPR

- Talon

- Valkyrie

- Arc Pistol

- Hurricane

- Incisor (surprisingly effective and fun)

- Viper

- Indra

- Eagle

- Suppressor

- Hornet

- Tempest

- Phaeston

- CAR

- Mantis

- Graal

- Claymore

- Wraith

While I love using my powers and just like with weapons there are days when; (like I said before); in the heat of battle I more often than not can not hit the broad side of the Titanic, let alone side step to soft cover. I am extremely bad at getting caught in a crossfire whether I am up high or down low. Currently I have been using the Arc Pistol II. It has been heck trying to get that weapon upgraded to 10. In my dreams I want a hard hitting weapon that has both long and short range kill streak, with ample ammo. I find with my Arc Pistol that I am constantly running out of ammo, right when I need them the most. Plus, those few seconds that it takes to stop and reload gets me killed a lot too, especially when I am toe-to-toe with a Geth Prime.

Then too, admittedly, there are some maps and some enemies on silver unknown/unknown, like the Collectors, that intimidate me to where I actually lose all perspective. The shuttle arrives at the site and I am like: "Awe crap!" (I hate fighting against the collectors and those freaking Phantoms.) But, I won't leave the lobby. It isn't fair to my teammates, so I just try and struggle though the waves and heal those teammates that go down.

Here are the maps which I dislike: "Reactor, White, Condol and Aruna.

Acr pistol requires to be fully charge to have good damage. It may be a bit tricky that is why a lot of people prefer to use it with drill ammo. You can charge and shoot it from behind the walls with drill ammo and that requires geth scanner so you can see the enemies through the walls. In my opinion, while the weapon is one of the most powerful guns in the game, it can be a bit tricky to use on a non-infiltrator even as powerful as Turian sentinel without considerable experience. When you reload it and charge it, you are essentially exposed to enemy fire. So it is good idea to move and stand in some place where the enemies cannot hit you by using right hand advantage. Eventually, I'm sure, you'll master it. So, just have to be patient and continue using it and it should improve with some time.

Your Saber II will still hit like a truck on lower difficulties and will work a treat on the T-Sent. Executioner Pistol as well, but lots of reloading.

Both guns will be slightly heavy, so your power use will have to be quite selective.

Personally I'm either a Claymore or Arc Pistol T-Sent fan. Although since I use a controller, the Arc Pistol is tricky. I'm experimenting with it on kits where I've used easier guns in the past. (My QME used a Harrier, but the Arc Pistol makes a lot of sense on him).
