[Video Compilation] Legendary boss fights, solo any class

If you consider your or someone else's video special in terms of strategy / build used in the fight please feel free to post here and you can mention equipment and build used if you prefer and it is not clear in the video. Keep in mind that most of the expert players know that you can kill something like the Highland Ravager in 10 seconds with an assassin, but basically this thread should showcase the "benchmark" of what the different classes in DAI are capable of.
Gya's 2-Handed Reaver vs Gurd Harofsen, nm + all trials
Great Reavering! Intense!
Also Gya's vid, Rift Mage in Descent Gauntlet also nm + all trials:

This is not me, but I often refer to it as how NOT to solo the Emissary Alpha in Descent. Warning, very NSFW language, but that's part of the fun -- this dude gets incredibly frustrated that his solo Archer Assassin can't make any headway against infinite barrier regen.

For me, ottffsse's necromancer solo videos are among the most impressive put there, they certainly changed my opinion of the necromancer specialisation!
Thanks Gya! The Reaver vid of you taking out Gurd is really benchmark for how powerful a Reaver is in this game. As for the rift mage, I am suprised you killed Saarath so quickly in the final stage, did you use an elemental pact belt or not? Anyways, it seemed guardian spirit was key in that rift mage video to keep you up (and a very lucky break when you "died" for a second but resed due to heal on hit and a fortunate energy barrage or something). I had a similar moment in the necro run when I missed the stupid anchor hand explosion at the end which led to a chain of events of my necro just taking too much damage and barrier on cooldown and going into simulacrum mode but then I could luckily still time a self resing energy barrage.
On a side note, I was trying to find great videos of dual wield assassin or other rogue to showcase but most I see on youtube are archer rogues which are sort of safer. It would be great to see a dw rogue take out Gurd or Saarath but all the videos are of the really easy 10s kills of the Highland Raveger and other dragons.
But I played this game enough in sp and mp not to be bothered anymore for a full dw assassin run again, I wonder if there are videos of solo dw assassin or any other rogue vs the top bosses: Saarath, Gurd, and the Despair Demons.

If you mean Murderer's Gold (JoH) for Despair Demons, any solo video seems worth watching.
Here's one with a 2H Champion. He actually has Solas and Sera in the party, but he took their armor off and disabled their AI and let them die in the first 10 seconds.
Rift Mage solo. This was done just a few weeks ago, so very likely has Trespasser game enhancements. Start at 6:30.

On the pyro necro I was like who cares about defense ... I will just take out those despair demons as fast as possible and if anything goes wrong just self res + fade step + barrier. I think I did that video before I discovered the whole walking bomb masterwork enchant option of the build too, otherwise those despair demons may have all gone down after just one flame array.

Yeah, I went with an enhanced winter pact belt. I didn't have any other enhanced belts and no superb belts, which would probably have made it a bit quicker. Still nowhere near the damage of a necromancer! I have no idea how Saarath somehow halves your damage in that fight, pretty annoying!
Also, yeah, that stupid pride demon pwnt me, I wasn't expecting it to do quite that much damage, luckily I'd just fired off an energy barrage

Lucanas, Still Ruins, Western Approach. I had more trouble with his guards, particularly the archers, than with Lucanas himself. The first few times I tried this, I kept getting one-shotted by the archers. Once I figured out to basically stay in stealth 100% of the time, it devolved into Stealth/Skirmisher, then run around until Hidden Blades was off cooldown, then Hidden Blades one target, rinse and repeat. Do that for each of the five enemies, ending with Lucanas. Pretty boring as video.
So then I tried using Mark of the Rift and that kind of sped things up a bit.

Again, not me, but my favorite solo battle against the Envy Demon. I learned a lot from this video, since the player does it without armor and doesn't take any healing potions! On XP level 5!!
I don't know what is more impressive - the envy demon fight or the thought of getting through the rest of Champions of the Just.
I like the little victory dance at the end.

Ty my friend yeah it was such a long play through with nm + all trials and such, I really wanted to pursue a dual wielding assassin since there just aren't any around besides the dragon fights and such but wow a solo run drained me it's been about a month and I'm still recovering
The hardest thing for me was the lack of DA feel to a solo run I just missed the banter and Companions alot it's weird how different dragon age feels without them

Very early game DW rogue NM+AT working my way upto an assassin might take awhile, I'm pretty sure it can def be done but now I can see the lack of solos for a DW rogue it's def a challenge but in a good way

You're right that there aren't enough post-Trespasser DW Rogue vids, of any type but definitely Assassin, apart from dragon speedkills. A couple of us are working on some solo Nightmare runs for that purpose. Join the club!
In some of my test solo battles, I found that the promoted enemies were just too tough without a way to wear them down. This is with a level 8-9 DW rogue without Assassin skills. Maybe with Hidden Blades and MoD you can handle them, but either I'd end up spending 20 minutes doing Stealth then Skirmisher then Stealth until Skirmisher is off cooldown, over and over, on just one promoted enemy, or I get one-shotted.
So I turned Walk Softly off. It's too much of a pain and no fun solo at low level. I am limiting my crafting to Tier 2, so that has a lot to do with my problems, but that's more important to me than Trials, so w/e.
BTW, don't forget that as the Inquisitor, you can zap a rift with the mark and do massive Spirit damage to demons. Just make sure there are no ranged attackers, like Wraiths or Despairs, because they target you as soon as you zap the rift.

Lol living in skirmisher was def my thought process on these and yea I need to disrupt more and take advantage of the rupture combo as a rogue aswell. I was having a tough time with promoted mages but staying in stealth then twin fang followed by a quick skirmisher was doing the trick of not letting them throw up a barrier, I'll show ya a lil vid hard to explain

I love how many viable solo builds there are. For example our rift mage videos, it's great that we could use such different strategies to achieve the same end result. So many awesome vids on this post you guys and gals are all Legends in your own glad to see Inquisition still getting supporters like it deserves.....keep up the awesome content inquisitors
And props to the community for being open minded and pleasant, without all the "MY BUILD IS BETTER THAN YOURS" and "git gud" mentality that pervades so many gaming fora.
EDIT: Also, I'm glad someone else is taking it upon themselves to do a DW rogue solo, I just couldn't bring myself to start another playthrough

Your videos inspired me to make a go at a rift Mage Solo run I tried it towards the end of my Necromancer Playthru but gosh not having a guardian spirit drove me insane, but DAI or just DA has an awesome community I love sharing and making stuff for it. And props to you and every one else in this topic you all put in great work no matter the difficulty Solo is a very awesome achievement
