So, that was different, any ideas as to what triggered it? A simple host migration did allow us to actually try again & kill it, but still...? ![]()

It says the video is private...
My bad, sorry.

If you kill the dragon when it's just taking off (like catapult on it at the very last second is 100% to cause that) that's what you'll get.

Ah, so that's what that looks, I'd never seen it before, thanks.
I've been guilty of causing that once.......once
Really? I've done it loads of times ![]()
But to be fair my idiot teammates, with a collective Prestige score of 11134 should know bloody better and stop shooting is down to 0.00000001% health, and still keep firing.
In all my time I've only ever seen the dragon die once on the tower with mage attacks only.
Had that happen for the 1st time in ages the other day, pretty sure it was my fault.............. ![]()
Yeah... I may have accidentally done that the other day as well - on the AW, take the dragon down to almost nothing because it's me and a Leggo. Then turn to get the baby dragons and chain lightening gets them and Mama - who proceeds to tap dance on top of the tower for all eternity before we host migrated.

My archer has killed it on the tower a few time now on solo runs.
What I hate is when that bugger lands on top of the tower sideways so that you can't target her.

She has learned a new strat, you can't have all the fun...

lets see...
saarebas jumps away from you even you are the only one in the game.
threatening mages take 1 damage from chain lightning.
dragon lands sideway so you can't target her.
okay good good....
Now let me ask you.. .whom did you ****** off at bioware? ![]()

I still am miffed by those damn Mages actually. Must have been an actual glitch because for Threatening that should not have happened. That being said the same Mages didn't place any glyphs on the ground so I don't know what was going on besides pissing me off lol.
I have also noticed that when you hit a Saarebas really hard he will jump away. I think maybe I had hit that one and it was just doing what it was programmed to do but got stuck in some type of loop. Last night I was playing in a PUG and we hit the commander Saarebas really hard right off the bat and he jumped far away as well. So working as intended it seems.

Threatening doesn't count in a real discussion
It does when you are a rookie like me ![]()
Best damn rookie I ever saw. 3000 hours of SP prepared you.
3000 hours?
I was barely able to finish one playthrough of the vanilla game the DLCs are still gathering dust here.

3000+ just for DAI. Over 30 runs of DAO and DA2 each as well. So I know the "tricks of the trade" of DA combat so to speak. ![]()

Oh I have a lot of played hours in DA: Origins but DA:I (the SP) compared to it is just an average game, not tempted to play it more then necessary ![]()
And to stay a bit on the Topic ^^ ... even the dragons on Nightmare Difficulty in the SP are very disappointing (not as much as in the MP but still not worth the title "High" Dragon ^^)
Oh hint: when the dragon is bugged and you can´t kill it and you won't risk a failed host migration (which is very likely) just let the dragonlings alive and kill you ![]()

Thanks for that, I'll keep that in mind for the future.

I wonder if there is a way to bug the dragon (on purpose) and keep the dragonlings regenerating?
