How does a previous SP only player git gud at MP?

Sure, we all laugh at Bronze NOW, but I doubt anybody's first game was "easy".

I have vague memories of casting my Combat Drone behind Guardians to get them to turn around because I was having problems killing them any other way. :blush:

Good times, good times. No piercing mods, no AP ammo Guardians were kind of a threat back then, Now they're just cannon fodder.

... I do that its a good tactic!

My first ever game was bronze and the team died on wave 7... I was the last survivor and got killed by a praetorian while trying to run away haha

My first bronze game was against Cerberus. I'd unlocked the Jug in my gift pack and decided to use him because, for one, I'd seen videos on how he worked before and had a vague idea of how to use him, and secondly, I knew my default choice of HFI was a **** option because I was too used to the time dilation in SP. It was just me and my friend, who was using the AV she'd unlocked. It wasn't especially hard, but I did get pretty annoyed at her stealing every kill with charge and grenades. <_<

To be clear, I'm not going to be jumping into MP soon, have too big a backlog of other games to play.

Hey, when you come back to ME3 MP, I'm happy to team up with you. I'm based in Melbourne -- so the connection should be...umm...more tolerable???

You can add me on Origin, "GI3007". I usually run on Gold difficulty, but happy to play any level. I'm usually around 9pm-12am EST (GMT+10)

A quick tip from your ~~friendly~~ evil neighbourhood penguin.

Allow no one to use you as cannon fodder. If you are a beginner, people wanting to play gold/plat with you, chances are, it means they want you for an extra target and/or to earn revive medals.

On gold, I doubt that a clueless PUG can have more benefits than disadvantages:

Incorrectly supressing spawns by simply standing in the wrong place.
Kiting & Attracting enemies to you while you are doing an objective.
Dying at the absolute worst times without any cover - thereby distracting half-noobs to revive them
Making distracting wailing noises when cornered or panicking :
No personal hygiene - Leaving half-dead enemies (dirty spawns) and swarmers to run around or killing ravagers at chokepoints leaving acid on the most traversed highways.
