I don't really need to see the pic to know what you are describing. There are a couple of causes for these sorts of artefacts. A common one for Origins props is bad lightmap UVs. It's easy enough to tell if this is the case. If it occurs identically on all instances of that prop model in multiple different levels/environments, especially if it is triangular or otherwise angular in nature, then that's your issue. A number of props have had their UVs fixed by the community over the years, so try searching for your specific prop model name via Google and see if it turns up anything. If you can't find anything, post the model name and I'll have a look at it.
Assuming it's not a UV issue, the other common problem is random artefacting from the lightmapper, typically black blobs of some sort. You can tell these cases when the extent and location of the artefacts changes every time you re-run the lightmapper, and/or is different on other instances of the prop model. These ones you may just have to end up painting out manually, lest you end up re-running the lightmapper endlessly (and just shifting the problem elsewhere).
Another thing that can crop up is the limitation of 3 lights per mesh. Generally it tends to result in a different sort of visual artefact. It's usually most noticeable on adjoining models like walls and so forth, where you will see markedly different light influences on two models that are side-by-side, resulting in a hard "seam" between the models.
