Sure, but only if we can kill it whenever we want. I mean whenever. If I'm giving a briefing like the ones from Mass Effect 2007, I want to be able to shoot it, stab it one eye at a time, etc.

EDIT: In all honesty no batarian would go on a human ship that is launching from Earth.
The Batarians aren't extinct, and we've already met one that doesn't care about grudges or revenge.

Personally i can't see the batarians making the trip, they are rather a pariah species before the reaper war and after it they are virtually extinct.

I'm pretty sure batarians, vorcha, elcor and hanar won't make it to Andromeda, and I'm not so confident with geth or drell either. I would have liked a hanar squadmate though.

Batarians are Renegade, even if they're going full Paragon. It is known.
Only if it's a female.
A Batarian squadmate, male or female would a fun romance.
But if I had to pick, I'd say a female Batarian would win by a narrow margin, as we've never seen one before.
