it s all said, but lets just quote the weapon summary thread :
"
Venom
Fires 1 grenade
Projectile weapon
1.25x ramp up multiplier (after ramp up delay)
Splits into 3 grenades after ramp up (damage split evenly between the 3)"

and add that i loose quite the number of  uncharged shot when soloing ...
Bosses might be the only time i dont charge it
Spoiler

AD - don't forget the "bounce off the ground" benefit you get from projectiles - ie acolyte bounce...

Well, I don't know about finger gymnastics, but I DO find using a controller theraputic. After using a mouse, my hand gets sore pretty quick, I find using a controller relaxes it pretty quick after that, as weird as it sounds. I can use a controller for hours on end, but if I make an hour with the mouse, I'll be suffering for the rest of the day.

I envy people who can play PC games, but I'm in no hurry to switch.

There is just something I love about a controller (Xbox, I don't really like the PS controller much), I don't think I could give it up even if a mouse is better.

Strangely enough, I never found XBox controllers comfortable (I owned both XBox and XBox 360). Maybe it's because I played PS1 and PS2 to death by then.

Probably the same reason I like Xbox controllers, never had a playstation.

No, with the Arc pistol you only want charged shots, uncharged it's very weak but charged it does massive damage.

It's actually pretty powerful uncharged as well, as long as you can mitigate armor DR and can fire at the maximum fire rate.  It's just that it's so powerful when charged that it makes it seem weak when uncharged.

Charged shot does 3x 0.41ish the damage of a single shot. Charged is about 20% more powerful with less ammo but at the cost of slower rof and technical DPS.
