In Origins, the romances available were 1 elf and 3 humans. In DA2, there were 2 elves and 2 humans. In Inquistion, the were 2 elves, 5 humans and 1 kossith. Please, please, please, can there be a dwarf romance option in the next game?

It's actually even worse than it looks based on Dragon Age alone - in their entire history of writing romances, BioWare have written full relationships between the PC and forty humans, eleven aliens, eight elves, two half-elves, a nymph, an azer, a Tiefling, and a one-eyed Qunari. And zero dwarves. (I am told that an azer is a bit like a dwarf only on fire, but I never played Kingmaker.) Not to mention that I expect the numbers of humans and aliens in that list to rise still further before DA4 because of Mass Effect: Andromeda and maybe the Sekrit New IP as well.
It is definitely time for a dwarf romance. Or two!

I agree. It's high time they gave us dwarf LI. I think it would be better if there are two dwarves as love interests in the next game.

Dwarven. Perhaps even multi racial. Would the offspring of elf a dwarf be a quarter elf, or a half-half elf? Because dwarves are short and... oh never mind.

The lack of dwarf romances are especially ridiculous because every dwarf companion after Oghren has been hugely popular.
DAA's Sigrun, DA2's Varric, DAI's Harding... All fan favorites that left people desperately begging BioWare to make them romance-able. (BioWare brought Varric back but didn't make him romance-able despite fan begging, begging the question of why they even bothered.)
It's time, BioWare. One doesn't have to be tall and model-thin (or an alien) to be desirable.

I hope so too, but considering we only get one dwarf companion per game (Oghren DAO, Sigrun DAA, Varric DA2 and DAI, Harding DAI), it seems like a tall order. BioWare would have to include more than one major dwarf character for it to work.

Tevinter's the best place for it outside of a dwarven kingdom, really. And they don't even necessarily both need to be companions - Varric was, but Harding felt very present with how many cutscenes she got and being able to chat with her at Skyhold. I wouldn't mind an advisor-ish NPC romance if it was complete and featured a dwarf. And Oghren was a recurring character, but you could take him and Sigrun (and a dwarf Warden) along in Awakening for a dwarf-heavy party.
I'd put up with a lot for a dwarf.

That's true. If any game lent itself to having more than one dwarf per country, it's Tevinter.
I'd love it if we had more than one dwarf companion or just major recurring dwarven character (like Varric, Harding, and potentially Dagna) just to have greater dwarf presence in the game, as well as the potential for more than one dwarf romance.
(For some reason I'm a sucker for dwarf/elf romances and DAO is not giving me much to work with. Aside from the option to romance Zevran as Aeducan/Brasca and Sera as a female Cadash - not happening since she laughs at Cadash for being short first time they meet - there are no options for elf/dwarf loving these games. Never mind not being able to play the elf loving the dwarven companion!)
