Eh, we already got some of that with Cerberus.

Fair point, but I meant all the humans.

Hmmm.  I suppose it depends on how integrated the arks are.  I would imagine if a group joined other aliens against the main MWG faction, that group would be a collection of guys from however many races on some number of ships not necessarily a whole race.

if they are in the way, they will not be a problem....not for long I mean. There are several solutions to problems like that ranging from guns, biotics, tech, blades of all stripes, war-hammers among other methods.

Krogan do the same thing. Literally the only times we've ever heard of Crushes, it's been in the context of at least one party (and in the second Crush, all five) planning to kill everyone else.

Yeah, but Krogan will charge you and headbutt you in the face.

The Salarians will just make sure that you will board a flight with your entire family, and then the aircraft will suffer an unfortunate malfunction.

There would be no survivors of course, they will make sure.

I don't "hate" asari, but if there is a betrayer race, they'd make the most sense. They have the ability, and a cultural imperative to mate with other species instead of their own. Andromedan species would almost certainly offer them better prospects than the other refugees.

...one of the known Milky Way races allied with the enemy ? Imagine the salarians or krogans making alliances with alien species that hate humans (because reasons)

Would be interesting to see a former ally become an enemy or a hindrance to our mission.

Not exactly your idea, but I do foresee certain factions from the MW becoming enemies. Especially certain factions of Krogan. Because they can't get along with anyone, even themselves.

It would be impresive if i could turn this trip for survival in Cerberus 2.0, betraying the milkys, killing the natives and throwing the aliens on my ships through the airlock and transforming the ark into a pitzone...

i still want to throw javik through the airlock...

I'd want the asari to be the betrayers because it makes the most sense. The asari prefer themselves to be in charge over the other "lesser" races, and they would never accept a human being a savior, even if it meant the doom of all. That was the whole point behind Thessia.

This is hardly a troll thread. I just suck at picking titles ;)

If you want a troll thread, just pick those who mention that Bioware is sexist or those that say that there are not enough homosexual romances in the game

As an Asari lover,  I'd still like the Asari joining the enemy.  What a story.

Edit.  Cancel that,  I want the humans to join the enemy.

Least it wouldnt be turians and salarians for a change lol

I would actually like to be able to choose this as a legitimate story path. But it would mean making Alien races playable (Or not I love being an outcast too...) and creating a massive interwoven story with a world big enough to contain it all. That wouldn't be funny at all.

In fact it would be ****ing glorious.

As for the Krogan they're almost guaranteed to become or join the enemy in numbers. It's kinda their thing, it's what they do.

The batarians would betray humans without a second thought, which is why we shouldn't bring them along.

This is sort of what I would dislike about the whole idea of one giant group of aliens against another.   One charismatic leader getting most of them to attack could probably happen, but there are always a group of rebels who for some reason or another disagree and work against their leader.

So having some join a group against us works for me, but having everyone deciding to fight against us, not so much.  Unless they have a hive mind set, which I'd rather not have that again.

Ryder is going to be the Jon Snow or Khaleesi of Mass Effect Andromeda.

Well, if the vid's any indication, it looks like the not-so-funny funny is going to happen with a Human and Krogan(-esque alien?).

The Salarians are another possibility, considering the strong-arming that was done in ME3, though this might not be an actual consequence to worry about, depending on when the Arks launch.

Batarians… forever a possibility for now.

What would really surprise me if the Asaris jumped ship on us. I mean, we're (supposedly) the most genetically diverse species so mating with us is always a "good thing" but maybe they [find] an Andromeda species that supports some Asari extremists that board one or more of the Arks.
