Sounds a bit rapey. Like the Batarians and their "stop struggling."

I'm hoping they at least show up in cutscenes/interactive dialogue sequences. We started to see some of that sort of thing in the Mass Effect 3 DLC, and it's an idea worth expanding upon.
Actually getting to use our powers to do cool **** in gameplay, outside of combat, would be nice, too. I still think a biotic jump for, say, Adepts and Vanguards - to replace the jetpack - would be fun--it'd be a natural evolution of the class-based melee attacks in ME3. Oh, and Vanguards should be able to charge without locking onto an enemy first--it never really made sense that you couldn't, at least from a lore perspective, and with Andromeda's focus on larger environments/exploration, it'd be a great tool to have for quick traversal.

What? Be faster than the Mako? Sacrilege!...

But, it's worthwhile having that freedom.
My only concern is that they might overpower biotics in this case. If we exclude Asari matriarchs and exceptional cases (Jack, Morinth and etc), even most talented biotics couldn't lift 150-200 kg (or something like that)... So, use your biotics powers wisely and don't turn in to space magic... more then it already is.
It DOES sound useful for opening beer cans.
Also useful, i imagine, for turning off alarm clocks.

Definetly. I don't fancy the concept of space magic. My only concern is that they might overpower biotics in this case. Do you fancy the concept of science fiction?Definetly. I don't fancy the concept of space magic.
I love it, specially because it's "science" fiction and not "mystic" fiction. Biotics/mass effect fields have an in-game explanation, ergo they're not magic at all.Do you fancy the concept of science fiction?

Use of biotics for exploration purposes would mean biotic type classes would have more opportunity to explore the game, in theory at least. Soldiers, engineers, et cetera would be limited in this.
BS! - The engineer could deploy drones for example (as for the Soldier? - Sorry, but that class is the typical grunt, so tough luck here...but maybe they could have more gear on them to compensate for their "weakness"?)
Still, I love the other examples given:
- Levitation...damned, I wanted to do that (Liara and Samara looked great doing that - radiating dark-energy etc.!) for a long time ![]()
- Biotic-Charge or Jump, gimme! (note: I would want to be able to merge the adept and the Vanguard (that was the class with the charge, right?...only play adepts, so I don't know) because the king of biotics should really have access to all biotic skills IMHO - how you skill your "new" class is up to you then!)) and without locking on to somebody ![]()
- Biotic Bubble/Barrier against hostile environments (also for use in combat of course...I'd have loved to have that bubble that Asari on Thessia used to temporarily plug that whole in the wall!)
And I really think the class should influence the game somewhat (it shouldn't make it impossible for someone who isn't a certain class to solve some problems, but being a certain class should definitely make it a lot easier!)
ps: Biotics overpowered? Damned, the guy who wrote that is kind of funny (especially as he likens it to magic, despite it having a scientific explanation)...still, I'd love more powerful biotics (I mean if the Protheans can genetically engineer the Asari to be great biotics, what's stopping us from enhancing our own biotics? - Nothing IMHO, especially when we face extinction!)
It would help inmersion if we could use them for exploration purposes, such as protecting us from hazards encountered in uncharted worlds.
Never thought of that before but yeah i could actually see that working
And all the sexual innuendos begin hahaha
I would use biotics to keep my coffee hot, but not too hot.

But if your coffee does get too hot and you get scalded, can you sue the manufacturer of your implant?

And the school where i learned how to control my biotics.
By taking it on and off the heater?I would use biotics to keep my coffee hot, but not too hot.
Maybe i learned how to get those coffee molecules excited? ![]()
I would be so down for this. Cinematic biotics like we see Liara, Jack, Miranda and Samara use for our character would really make them feel like a BAMF. Not sure I care to levitate up the edge of a cliff while exploring though. That would feel a bit too much like I was a faerie or some other magical being. Biotics are stressful to your system and can't really be used for just getting around because you're too lazy to walk.
I don't think you know how biotics work.Maybe i learned how to get those coffee molecules excited?
How the hell do biotics in the bedroom work? If I'm biotic or my partner is biotic I want to see how that works out in a romance scene. Call me Curious George.
