eh, boring.
But as the faithful say: In the Biotic God we trust, He who will sweep all before Him like a Great Wind!!
Yeah I know. I just want to talk about games.

But the game HAS science in it. And it was you that started to question the science. ![]()
But let's leave it there.
On topic: Wonder if they are using biotic in the medical field. Like stop bleeding and such.

and religion and politics. The unholy trifecta. I'm happy to discuss these within the bounds of games (sometimes). Sorry, I did give some contradictory posts.
On topic. Absolutely. I can't remember, isn't it already in game wrt medicine?

@Op, Sure. Especially if it's handled like Psi Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy.

No No No. do not want.
I merely proposed religion such that we could say "Have faith, Biotics can heat liquids".
I have caffeine in my system. I have all i need for biotic mini-manipulation.

I know you're probably trying to save yourself from typing… but could you elaborate?
Back on forum Topic: maybe the siblings will show us some example of non-combat biotic usage?

Biotics could be possibly used for mining and exploration; force used to break and move ground and minerals.

Biotiball. A new sport that I may actually enjoy. There was that ball game mentioned in The Citadel DLC; the one between Asari and Human biotic players. This might be an entertaining way for some to pass the time, though I rarely enjoy mini-games myself.

Oh God.
That's why we have omni tools man. Simplicity. Next week we gonna be talking about using thermal clip to start fires. That's legit. Or playing galactic golf using mass relays.
I am busy, leave a message with Michael. ![]()
And what if you lose your omnitool?
Think out of the box, don't limit yourself.
It is the same logic I hear people use on why I know how to start a fire without matches or lighter, because "I will always have it with me". ![]()
If you can give me a good explanation on how thermal clip can be used to start a fire, sure do it. ![]()

Thermal clips produce heat, we know that. Lore. ME2 Zaeed kills vido Santiago with a heated thermal clip by tossing it in the gasoline. There's your explanation.
Well, to be more accurate it is the guns that produce heat, and the thermal clips absorb it. Once the thermal clip can't absorb anymore heat, it is ejected for a new one. The thermal clip gets rid of the heat all at once where the older guns vented the heat without thermal clips, taking longer.

Exactly. That what I meant. You get little pieces of wood and dry grass/weeds and put the thermal clip in and you should have a fire. They do get pretty hot.Well, to be more accurate it is the guns that produce heat, and the thermal clips absorb it. Once the thermal clip can't absorb anymore heat, it is ejected for a new one.

Agreed. I was just saying that the thermal clips aren't the ones that actually produce heat, but merely absorb it. It's the same principle as with what we do with cooking, where the grill/pot/pan/etc doesn't produce heat but absorbs it from the heat source, cooking the food in/on them.

How the **** do you lose your ******* omni tool?
Think outside the box? Why? What does thinking outside the box have to do with this? I thought outside the box and mini shockwaves from biotics heat up coffee. I did the mathematical equations. I'm not even sure if you can lose your omnitool. and besides, I'm sure they have sere training in N school. Thermal clips produce heat, we know that. Lore. ME2 Zaeed kills vido Santiago with a heated thermal clip by tossing it in the gasoline. There's your explanation.
Your Omnitool is something that you equip. if you can equip it you sure as **** can lose it. follow?
Thinking out of the box make it possible to see things out of a different viewpoint, that is always valuable. That is how we learn and create new things. And what mathematical equations? you just didn't understand the physics behind heat.
And how do we know that they don't teach how to use your biotics in non-combat way in N-school?
And does your thermal clip create enough heat to ignite something else than gasoline (or what it was)?

So tell me smart guy, how do you equip your omni tool amd how do you lose it? The Alliance has training programs for biotics for sure, or grissom academy for the youngster biotics. I doubt they teach you that in N school but who knows? I know as much as you do about that. If you're a biotic they should teach you in some sort of biotic training program, not in the Alliance elite special operations training program, you're there for combat training. Who are you to say what I know and don't know. Dude up top talkin about all this science stuff. Friction causes heat. All you need to know. Ejecting a thermal clip get pretty hot man. Any Mass Effect player know that. Enough to start of fire? MOFO all you need is the heat of the sun and some dry @$$ trees to start a forest fire. Considering they are hot enough for gasoline to catch fire they should be able to start a camp fire with some creativity and survival training. But why go through all that when you can use an omni lighter.Your Omnitool is something that you equip. if you can equip it you sure as **** can lose it. follow?

First: we don't know how, but the fact that we can change them in me1 shows that they are as the codex says "handheld devices". that is all we need to know. that it is hard to lose them is a different thing.
Second: If they teach it in basic or in N-school make no difference. I can ask you the same thing. Why would an Elite training program teach Sere training that doesn't involve biotic? If they have it, better make them good at it.
yes, friction causes heat. But different amount of friction causes different amount of heat. For not to talk about the material of the thermal clip. And it does take more than "some sun and dry tree" to make a fire. Gasoline ignite at 246-280 Celsius. Wood ignite at 300 Celsius.
But this is getting off topic. create a thread if you want to discuss it more.
Ps. I am not doing this to annoy you and I do believe that it may be possible to make a fire with a thermal clip. So let's try to stay civil. ![]()

You didn't need an entire paragraph. You could've just said that. Maybe the omni tool is like one of those futuristic watches that makes a holographic projection. In the games we're never seen wearing one. It sort of just pops up. And it weaves a blade together. I'd like to see michio kaku or neil degrasse Tyson explain that one. And I never said they didn't teach biotics in N school but certainly not to grab to remote telepathically from the other side of the couch. As for fire......Just **** it. I really don't care anymore. If I wanted to know more about how to start a fire I'll just Google it. But let's discuss something else. *Sigh* all this over some biotic heating coffee crap.I am not doing this to annoy you and I do believe that it may be possible to make a fire with a thermal clip. So let's try to stay civil.
