Ok let me explain.  So let's say you are about to start "Here Lies the Abyss" or even a side quest like "Capturing Caer Bronach" you would have a que option where you could search for a person to replace one of your party members.  The party member would be replaced by the person of your choosing, and they would bring in one of their multiplayer characters to fit your class & level need.

So it would kind of work hand in hand with the multiplayer system.

So for example, say I'm playing the SP game, and I'm not really liking any of my warrior companions.  I'm about to try to go capture the keep in Crestwood.  There would be something like a tavern or guild in the Crestwood map where I could search for a warrior.  It would have a list of all the people and their multiplayer character(s) they were wanting to use to assist people with their SP game (obviously there would be level range criteria tied to your Inquisitor).

I see John Doe, has a Level 10 Katari with 7 promotions, he would have a list of quests that he would be willing to assist with.  I would choose him, and he would replace the party member that I choose to replace for the duration of the quest.

Would you use this option in your SP game?

Not at all interested in that. Have never used multiplayer and don't intend to, so this system would be useless for me.

You should check it out.  It's pretty fun, and some of the characters/agents have great personalities.

I like the idea of more numerous temporary companions, but I don't care for having it linked to multiplayer. I'd rather have more situations like Hawke + Stroud/Loghain/Alistair at Adamant, where you get temp companions for the duration of a quest.

Some of the DAMP characters have great concepts, but I think I'd just get frustrated that they weren't full companions and I couldn't get to know them better.

I would rather have them spend more time developing a good story than spend time working out this system and how to fit it in the game. Just my opinion though

Most people playing SP would hate this but I think the general idea has merit.  Having a roster spot for a none core character might be good as at times the limited core roster doesn't have enough class.

I like the idea of having other options, instead of, or as well as the MP agents.   I'd even go as far as to have the ability to take one of your own SP game companions into another persons game to fill a roster spot.

I just think it would be awesome have one of my friends controlling one of my companions during a mission.  Not too mention on the higher difficulty levels it would help out a great deal.  I catch my AI controlled companions doing some of the dumbest things, and just getting stuck in place.

I know a lot of people enjoy the SP experience which is why it would be totally optional.
