Giant is good for sniping.
Anyway, your firstborn should be enough for the the most part.
Not with the constant screen shake if you depend on headshots to do decent damage or something like overload to stun enemies for a sec.
More than half my matches are Collectors when I play heavily powers-based characters. Hardly ever happens when I'm an infiltrator, but adept? Seeker swarms galore. Thanks, game.
Nothing you can do. You can have RNG favor on map selection or the store, not both. I'd rather they gimme UR drops and shotgun amps.

I rarely get that Ghost hazard. But when I do.. one time it rained indoors! I kid you not. It didn't hurt though, but clearly some interesting memory leak.
I decided to see it as doubly romantic, with the rain drops keep falling on my head, but that doesn't mean my shields will soon be turning red. Dying's not for me, 'cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining...

Ghost hazard is awesome.Once you figure out all of the places it has overhead cover from the rain,you can kite the enemies to their death.

Use your ears.
Even a UUG map is roughly selectable by listening to the background music when all have ready-up. Such an obvious pattern is hard to miss.
Yup I have seen someone do this in an AHF match, it's actually pretty reliable.
Also quickscope more and maybe use enemy highlighting gear or powers like geth scanner, hunter mode etc.
The game loves to give me Dagger Diarrhea and Ghost Hazard. The Ghost one almost always comes with Collecturds. It has come to a point where I'm like "What?" when it spawns something else. They are like a... shitty package deal.

True- use that otherwise @!§$ auto-aim to your advantage in this case and do a millisecond L1 tap on quickscopes, followed almost synchronously by R1, without waiting for the screen to refresh.

As easy as falling out of a tree. You just have to let go of the compulsive control obsession... (ofc there are limits to wonders, like you have to be alive, at least facing some enemy, etc.)
Some might call blind uncertainty. I call it creative use of animation mechanics. This frees you not to worry about what happens on the screen, but training your ears to hear that projectile slotting into the rifle chamber, to immediately followup with any power animation.

I'm not a fan of two maps...Ghost hazard (rain depletes your shields) and cerb or geth...phantoms sapping your health from across the map with their hand blasters or geth hitting you with multiple rockets or pyros sneaking up on you outta nowhere...again PLUS the acid rain....
...and the other map i hate?....Condor...do i really need reasons?.....
