I don't know why I am saying this but here we go:
"I was merely making an observation in my original thread and I thought that it was funny that we all died in the seventh wave. I wasn't trying to offend anyone.
YES, I like to win too. But winning isn't everything. It is how you play the game. And, for me it is the joy of playing with people from around the world. YES, it is always nice to play on a team that somehow just jells--without a single word being mentioned. And, even if we had lost the battle it was great to have worked with such awesome people.
I once played a in a game on silver where this player; I assume that he was from Great Britain, because of his accent; talked me through the entire game. Mostly telling me to watch my back and telling me what I was doing wrong. And, lo and behold, I did not find it offensive, but educational. I was very appreciative of his coaching, if you will. I would play along side him again in a heart beat.
What I appreciate most too are the people on here who have and are still are helping me grow in the game. As I said before there are maps that I really dislike and I do extremely poorly on, because of my dislike for them I am certain. Then again there are other maps that I seem to do well on--where I can usually score at the top of the list. Which brings to mind my mentor who tells me not to be concerned where you end up on the list. It is all about the coin.
(I have soloed Firebase Dagger on Bronze three times now with my Turian Sentinel. (I go there when there is no one in the lobby.) And, I am certain that there are players who would probably chastise me for how I accomplish it with my hit and run from cover tactic. Sure, it may take 25 minutes to get through the game, but who cares about how fast you can do it, as long as you do it?)
In closing, this was and is my own personal perspective. And again, it was not meant to offend anyone. Thank you.
