And when you click on the hamster cage he squeeks! Bioware used the exact same sound effect that Black Isle used when you clicked on Boo in Minsc's inventory.

You need her to use the Combat Drone, and I think it has to be specialized. And she gives it a different name depending on what you specialize it as.
