I haven't gone through all these posts yet, but I'm assuming themikefest has posted, or will post, a "human, human, human, human, human, human" squad.

They should raise the squadmember roster by at least two.

If eight:

1. Human M/F
2. Asari
3. Salarian M/F
4. Female Turian*
5. Krogan M/F
6. Male Quarian
7. Andromeda Race 1 M/F
8. Andromeda Race 2 M/F

If seven, cut the quarian. I really hope we get more than 7, though. Considering the scale of our mission in Andromeda, 7 seems pretty low. That said, I also don't want the team to be ME2 big.

 

*with retconned redesign to make them look closer to how they did in the comics, I liked Nyreen but she didn't look like a turian at all to me.

Nope. BioWARE hasn't been very good with diversity of thought.

But only Ryder can deal with the problem s because the squad are either too lazy, stupid, or too busy whinging to do anything.

1.) Krogan Shaman, Sentinel or Engineer (i would like to see a female one who runs off from the Milky Way because she had enough of the Genophage and all the consequences. If the Krogan would be male it would be nice, too - but with a class that is not "typical for a Krogan" - maybe he is an oddball/eccentric in his clan or something like that.)

2.) Asari Valkyrie/ Huntress (less pure biotic/more of an amazon)

3.) female Turian Cabal (loved to play her in MP, i think she has a lot of interesting stories to tell about turian society, the spirits, female turian education and biotics/poisons)

4.) male Salarian Soldier or Vanguard (less witty, more muscles, always up front)

5. & 6.) Human male (Sentinel or Infiltrator)  & Human female (Engineer or Adept) > i can see both as advisors, too (liked all 3 in DA:I and i think Ryder needs a lot of advice as inexperienced military person/upcoming leader)

7.) Andromedan native with a new class build (don't really care about the gender though)

 

So in case all humans are advisors (maybe together with a Volus or Elcor) in ME:A >  5. Quarian male (class:?? maybe no Engineer though) , 6. some new AI or Synth (class?? but no reaper, no geth, no Edi 2.0)

 

Edit: need more squadmembers xD My team runs low on biotics now that i read it again oO I wonder how they will handle all the different classes in balance between biotics & weaponry/techskills etc. For me it was surprisingly difficult oO

I believe Nyreen's popularity or lack of held major weight in whether we'll get a female turian or not.
