Dammit, I want to believe that, I really do, but I have an entirely opposite opinion. There is no weapons master in this game. Every kit can use every weapon in a different way. "GI all the things" is a famous Bsn answer I never really understood. Other classes are as equal or better than GI. Example: TSol with anything. Destroyer is an excellent weapons platform. Also in the past I've had GI's wasted all of their medigels and ragequit in shame because they thought they could match my poor old HSol's survivability and close/any range versatility. Now, Javelin can easily handle Platinum bosses on its own, I just plain love it with Adrenaline Rush.

 

 

Not to mention that GI Claymore is nowhere near HSol Claymore. I will admit that GIs are efficient killers and they can be of great help in many chaotic games, but I want to be honest here, I've never been "threatened" by it. Just my two cents, as always.

 

Well, what you do with the Hsol is kind of special, definitely not representative of what most of us can do  .

 

Also, what kind of ammo would you use for U/U/plat?

Mmmm, now that we're talking about the Javelin. I actually have a collection of unreleased shots I took a looooong while ago. I had the intention of making a compilation out of them, kind of the best Javelin shots I've taken. But a long time ago I realized that making such a compilation in the right way actually takes a lot of time. And I currently don't have that time, nor do I think I'll have it in the near future.

 

So I was thinking, rather than have those shots get completely wasted, I could release them as a very very basic compilation, without any effect, sync or whatever, just a sequence of ME3 short vids with some pretty sick (or so I think) shots. That would take a reasonable time, and maybe people would enjoy it just the same?

What do you guys think? Would you enjoy watching it? Or should I just put those vids to rest on my hard drive for good?

It also depends a lot on the player using the kit, you are one of the best I've played with, most pugs are far away from what you can do.

It's more I think if you play the GI correctly, the numbers piling up from passives, HM, PM and lolIwincloak are just massive, from a pure numbers perspective (at least theoretically) it's hard to compete with that.

As for the Claymore, it's one of the least used guns you will find in pug games since it's harder than most other guns to master, but I would bet that if you put two players of equal skill next to each other, the GI would come out on top in the end.

Have some pity man- it's not her mistake. Some people are not linearly reading these threads. Imagine how confused you would be if you only read posts from one particular person in this thread.

 

OT : Sometimes I challenge myself to stay at 2nd place, that can be a lot of work - because then I have to find Nr. 4 and support by priming, half kill enemies and the like. Good for team spirit though. Sometimes you have to deal with Parasites PUGS (those actually at nr.2) that realize that you're helping nr.4 and then troll behind to steal from nr.4. Human ingenuity never cease to surprise me.

I once knew a sinner that behaved similiarly - he simply posted stuff everywhere, by simply checking the last post. Always had some cat pictures also. Wonder what happened to him. Hit by a truck I guess.

Over the years I've played with some exceptional Claymore GIs, I or any of us had no skill over them, but I always topped them in the end. Sometimes I knew it wasn't me, it was the brilliant designer behind HSol. All I learned well was multitasking on the battlefield. Something that GI can never do. Cloak-bebuff-shoot routine for half an hour. Boring. Now, HSol was unique. It was like this kit had no limits for me and has never let me down either.

You might have played with exceptional GIs. You just haven't played with the right ones
