BW hinted at having a family that are story related. Now assume that these were Ryder's brother or sister. This can take the form of a DAO-style origin, where each gender has some mutually exclusive story lines. If there was a conflict between the two, it would allow you to experience it from both sides. In that part MEA's story and some of the squad mates can be introduced as well.
BW has done something like that in DAO and DAI, even though it was costly, and may do it again for MEA.
In that case selecting a gender will, besides romance options, also have more than just a cosmetic impact. It will be great to play the game at least twice.
Your thoughts on that?
Edit: Below you'll find some more info about what made me come up with the idea:
From an interview with Mac Walters we know that:
- The protagonist is called Ryder.
- There is more than one Ryder.
- She has family, which is tied into the story.
- The player will choose the main character differently than in the trilogy.
