Hello, everyone,

Yesterday, I started playing multiplayer and I found it very fun but I have a problem playing with other people I can only play Proving Ground and Alone (Solo) but it is very difficult and each time I search and join a game the game log me in and I get the loading screen with the 3 tips but once the loading is finished I get a black screen with the Inquisition sign in the bottom right corner and the game keeps that way until I get kicked (which I assume that the game has already started but the others see me standing still so they kick me) or I get a lost connection message. Is this a game problem or a connection (I already can play solo or proving ground) ?

Any help would be appreciated.

The Game, especially the MP was never very stable. A lot of bugs and connection issues. Other problems may come from your Hardware (no idea on which platform you are playing) but on PC there can be tons of problems. And not because you have a bad machine more because it´s not well coded for some components.

Blackscreen happens to everyone from time to time but if you have it all the time it might be something on your end (Hardware, Internet connection).

I know, that´s not much of a help, I guess. More an explanation :)

Sounds like what happened to me when i tried playing without all the multiplayer expansions downloaded. They're free, just required to play.

You'll know when you've been kicked. It actually tells you that you've been kicked. If you didn't get any message, it just means you disconnected somehow

for any number of reasons. As Caldyrvan said, blackscreen happens to many of us. Usually during random pug matches. However, if you do find a good

group of like minded players and you're not experiencing lag with their games, send a friend request. We're playing a game with dragons and magic, you

can't get any more inclusive than that. Sign up here and say hello  :D

Well, that very shocking; I thought the dev would code a masterpiece especially with those fancy promo and propaganda they made, **sigh** anyhow it doesn't matter.

I have DELL Inspiron 5558 - core i7 with window 7 OS, although some sites say that the specs is low but I am playing with the graphics high on many graphic settings and I find the game is working fine, I tried to set it to low to start a MP session but I got kicked or disconnected due to the black screen Issue. I thought its was worth to tell the specs of my machine in case it has something to do with this issue.

Are there any patches beside the one you find in origins;I have all its components installed.

Thanks for the support.

I'm still not certain you mean that includes the DLC's as well (they're not patches per se). You'll find them on the info page in Origins and the ones' concerning MP are called Dragonslayer and Destruction.

Every Add-On and Bonus is installed; including the one you mentioned. Thx for the reply though.

One thing that helped me a lot was to open up the ports DAI and Origin use in the firewall. If you have that possibility, there are instructions here: http://portforward.c...ge-inquisition/.
