Most definitely....but it's kind of a hollow victory seeing my Shep take a breath at the end knowing I probably won't even get a codex entry from MEA about my exploits in the milky way :)

Just install "Happy End" mod and enjoy your Sheppard's recovery :)

I've played the series several times now. No need to play it again.

*remembers Steam library*

Too many games that I have not played yet.

*doesn't start Steam until the 4th*

There's another sale right now.

Just bought some of the Civilization games.  Shock horror,  I've never played them,  but there goes another year of my life.

I'm not into those. But maybe that's because *I know* I can be lost into them, just like you. ;)

At the moment I have a very hard time not to replay a certain game, which name shouldn't be uttered on this forum. :P

Yeah, I started a new game to replay everything at least 3 or 4 times  since the new dlc which is longer than most games and one third the price, for this certain game that shan't be mentioned.

Never tried a strategy game,  been told Civ 5 is a good one to start with and the price on steam was ridiculous. Perhaps I should not have mentioned this.

I never stopped ever since finishing the trilogy in February 2015. On my 4th run currently and about to finish, and while I am excited for MEA, I am glad it still takes some time until release. I at least want to finish all classes before MEA drops, and maybe even more since I have quite a lot of ideas for different Shepards

There are other folks over at the ME3 boards that still play on a quite regular basis... that's where all the fun's at :D

I'll try to pretend that you didn't.

I've played that nameless game 6 to 7 times. I'm stuck in my current one. There was this romance with a lady that some consider is or should be canon. So I wanted to see what that was about, but its very hard. She is very well written, but she's just horrible. I cannot stand her. So, maybe I just give up on that one and restart another playthrough. It's about fun right? I still find new things and quests and new ways to accomplish quests. Love it.

Edit: And yes, that last DLC was great. I liked it more than the previous one, which wasn't bad at all.

I never really stopped -- every four months or so, either me or my husband seem to go "I want to play Mass Effect, and I have some different ideas this time!" or "I want to redo one of my favorite playthroughs because it's fun!" and the other one chimes in or watches. And once you start, might as well do all three!

I don't seem to stop either evrey so often I'meither playing Mass Effect or Dragon Age these days. I find Boiware's games just too addictive to drop them for long.

I've been thinking about playing the trilogy all week, but I've had a cold and you know, playing games when you have a cold is just ugh. But now I'm better so I'm Gonna pop ME1 in tonight's and start my ME adventure all over again. And it'll be my canon one for ME:A, even if there is no importing.

And I'm itching to get back in the Mako. I love the Mako.

Already started "one last" playthrough. I'm in the midst of Mass Effect 2, just finished the Firewalker DLC.

I can finish the entire trilogy within 2 weeks. Andromeda is at least 10 months away. What would the point of that be?

I still play though its been awhile since I've been concentrating on the Uncharted games on the ps4.

I might do a quick trilogy run tomorrow. Doesn't take long

Be warned: They can be totally addictive. My sister and I spent so many Sunday afternoons playing Civilization 2 back in 1998. One of the few games on PC at that time that made me forget consoles for a while.

so I've been told.  I'm sad now,  not enough years left to play all the games in my backlog.

Yeah, that´s true for all PC gamers with a Steam account. But looking on the bright side, I guess it´s much better to complain about having games in excess than lacking games. Same goes for food, money, RAM...

I envy my daughter when she's older,  she will receive a treasure trove of games  at zero cost (she does game).

and back on topic she will get to play the entire Bioware back catalog including all 3 ME's hopefully 4 and more.  She has no idea how lucky she is.

A trilogy run on a single day?

Is it possible?

Do you have some track record of your fastest trilogy?

What I find most impressive is that you do what you do on a console. I mean, I can´t play ME1 on a console without making changes on the inventory every 10 minutes. This makes it very tiresome for me. Thank Heavens for the PC version having the cheat console commands option so I can bypass inventory altogether and jump straight to fun.

I know that ME1 requires very few missions (and no side-quests) to be made, and that ME2 can be done very fast if you just recruit kasumi, zaed, grunt, mordin, garrus and jack and then do several quick side-missions, but it still takes a few hours.

I just hope she can have appreciation  for her luck. I´m more than a little concerned regarding the new generations. The younger they are, the more impatient they get and the least curious they seem to be regarding the past.

I mean, nowadays many gamers think that titles with 2 and a half years are already in need of a remake (otherwise they´re too ugly to look at). Sprite-base games are a no-no. Games that relly heavily (or even entirely) on text are too tiresome.

I wonder if your daughter´s generation will even care for anything that is not 3-D and that requires glasses or a VR-helm. In the same way that the current kids were taken away by the cellphone storm.

I've never pushed my daughter in any direction,  I will support her with anything she chooses.

She plays games so there is hope. She has  played both Portal games and loved it. She gets angry when I don't let her watch me playing mature games. She is incredibly focused in what she likes doing.

People still watch TV,  they'll play games that aren't VR.

I believe there is hope in the generation coming and to come.

I'm not going to push her to play the ME series,  but I have reason to believe she will like it. (except for boob plate armor, romances, etc j/k)

Yup, just reached Mass Effect 3. This is actually the first time I've played any Mass Effect at all since my first playthough of ME3; it left such a bad taste in my mouth - though not, by and large, because of the ending - that I never went back. Thankfully, the Andromeda hype has gotten me back onboard.

This'll actually be my first time through all the ME3 DLC, so I'm looking forward to that at least, and going into the game with adjusted expectations - I know the dialogue system's gonna be utter crap (IMHO, naturally), so it isn't bothering me nearly as much as it did the first time through - seems to be helping. I kinda already hated the game by the time I was done with the Earth/Mars stuff on my first playthrough, whereas this time I'm already past that point and, since I've resolved to live with the shitty dialogue system, I'm having a much better time.

Also, as an aside, I'd forgotten just how great ME2 is. The main story's definitely a bit eh, but pretty much everything else - the characters, the dialogue system*, the loyalty missions and, finally, the Suicide Mission itself - is just brilliant. Easily my favourite game in the trilogy.

...

*That's as compared to ME1 and the farce that is ME3, anyway; DA2 still has my favourite take on the 'dialogue wheel' concept, and if we include games that don't use wheels, Planescape is in a league of its own.)

I have started a new character with a complete play through. However, this time I am
Including all the novels, comics, and Phone games in order. So far I've gotten through the prequel comic and novel and I'm about 1/3rd the way through ME. I plan on taking my time, seeing all the planets and doing all the side quests. I honestly can't get enough of Mass Effect . I haven't played in over a year. This ME marathon will get me ready for ME:A!

I have a handful of unfinished Shepards I'd like to take through ME2/3 before MEA comes out. Most of them are anywhere between Freedom's Progress and the derelict Reaper.

At the very least, I want to finish some of the unique ones. I never finished the Samantha, Tali or Jack romance playthroughs. Never started the Steve or Miranda ones. Never took my 100% renegade femShep through ME3. I put that one off for ages, I'm dreading shooting Wrex in the back.
