Currently playing ME again. Want to relive the story, really looking forward to ME2 and ME3. I can never get my FemShep to look right in ME with the sliders but she is perfect in ME2 and ME3. Think I will take a few renegade options that I haven't tried before this time, it will be fun!

Long time no hear.

Anyways. Nothing wrong with taking renegade options. Why not go the whole way? hahaha.

All of this ME talk has convinced to replay after all. Just ended up getting the PC version, because I never played it originally. Too bad there aren't many mods. I'm just playing ME with the gamepad and faster elevator mods. It doesn't look like that big texture overhaul makes much of a difference. 4k sounds like it'd just bog me down unnecessarily anyways.

While I have been playing ME1 again, it's less because of Andromeda and more because it was dirt cheap in the Steam sale. That, and I haven't played it in years.

The real problem with starting from ME1 (or DAO in Dragon Age) and moving to the next games, is realizing just how much you could do in the first game, and how much more limited the second and onward games are.

You might do a lot, but it's a lot of nothing. The Mako is clunky and collecting minerals/medallions is weak. I'll take the corridor design of Me2/ME3 personally.  You don't get big sprawling worlds, but the levels were well designed and looked very different from each other. And there was fun shooter gameplay to be had.

Not all of it is interesting either though. Scanning is as bad as medallion collection.

People who actually stopped playing mass effect to begin with are strange.

I plan to play through all of the games aside from the final mission in Mass Effect 3. I had started on the first game but stopped back in Feb for some reason.

Started 2 days before and I am already playing mass effect 2 (my favourite of the three). I don't like the gameplay very much of the first one and I encountered some weird graphical bugs (I had to shoot black squares as a black blop character on ilos.. I have no idea how that happened.. still better than therum with "invisible" lava), so I decided to rush through it in 2 days. Now I am enjoying ME2 and looking forward to play ME3 again in a couple of weeks. Maybe this time I will try that "happy ending mod" or I will play through it normally and after the ending I just play the citadel dlc again and finish my playthrough with it (and be quite happy).
