Can we at least agree that the music is terrible. Also this wasn't a Christian school, just a normal state school. There is no separation of church and state in the UK. I don't know if they still have hymn practice in most schools. This was like 20 years ago.

I see. I'm a Yank so it's different. The music has a certain tone but I wouldn't listen to it on my iPod. I don't want to make a whole conversation but what your opinion on Brexit? I'm just curious.

Andromeda will have animals that humans will consider as pets. In this, I have no doubts. In the mean time, there is the question of compatible foods in the new colonies. Humans will have enough problems finding and growing their own without using up resources to feed pets.

 

However, the colonists can always bring their pet rock...

You make an excellent point. Eating animals is a wasteful use of resources when all the nutrients you need can be found in plant based foods. Whether you believe eating animals is right or wrong is irrelevant when you're taking a 400 year journey in a tin can while asleep.

IKR. I agree. Now people are filled with regret over their foolishness. It's gonna be the same here in America when these fools vote in Trump. I don't want to see that happen. Maybe there should be a revote. Its caused more unnecessary trouble for the U.K. because some douche thought it would be a good thing. As for my people, we're screwed. I hate Trump. He's gonna become the dictator of America and people are just falling into his trap. At least you'll still have a country. I'll be surviving in a post apocalyptic America. Anarchy is coming. I love eating meat. I can't give it up no matter how hard I try. I'm that guy on the train that opens up a bucket of fried chicken and stinks out the carriage while eating the whole thing. I used to do that every time I had to go to London for work as my "reward" on the way back. I hate London, it's a pit.

And I'm a level 5 vegan. I don't eat anything that casts a shadow.   (heh, I actually am a vegetarian, but I'm not here to preach.)

 

I just hope we can have pets again. But it won't be a big deal if we can't. Maybe we can care for a new alien plant species? ...That hopefully can't eat us?

Do you think a tomato was made for you?  It's an egg... for another tomato plant. 

 

If you have to take chemical supplements for your diet... it is not, at the very least, "more natural" than keeping a balanced omnivorous diet.
