How would you feel about Bioware incorporating the Indoctrination theory into Andromeda some how?

Due to them apparently not basing Andromeda off any of the endings, this could actually be a (improbable) possibility.

How would you feel about it? For example, having Shepard being indoctrinated which forced Ryder and her squad to leave the galaxy to escape the Reapers/Shepard.

No. It was dropped from me3 and it would a terrible idea to bring it back.

In trailer we see that those "Ark" ships a stationed near a vastly populated planet. If you mean Indoctrination theory at the end of ME3 then those ships would been long destroyed.

If there will be any mentioning of indoctrination (unless there are Reapers in Andromeda too), then it will be most likely a small-medium size side quest. One/Several ppl who were on the ship were indoctrinated before leaving the galaxy (most likely because of Cerberus)

How would I feel about it? - I would, quite frankly, HATE the idea.

The time to capitalize on that idea has long passed.

It won't happen. Bioware pretty much confirmed that the sojourn to Andromeda occurs before the end of the Reaper War.

Have you by any chance seen this earlier thread? There quite a number of interesting comments already there.

It's not their theory. it's some radical theory brought up by some desperate ME3 ending haters that's already been debunked. But it's amusing how people insist on bringing it back. Let me make this perfectly clear, never in a million years will the indoc theory have anything to do with the mass effect universe.

By not committing to any endings and ignoring the conclusion of ME3 they've opened the door for any and everything to be canon. Including absurdities such as "It's all a dream". Whatever you want the ending to be, be it RGB, MEHEM, IT, Deception, Refuse, Carebears come in and save the day thru the power of love, the Biotic God 1-hiting all the Reapers, whatever you can imagine is all equally canonical.

BioWare wants to put the original trilogy behind them with the new game and, honestly, I am inclined to agree with them. It's time to move on.

Timing is everything.

Sadly, the writers failed to grasp the indoctrination lifeline, and now it is too late.

Why do people insist on having ME3 related stuff in Andromeda? The reason Andromeda is set in another galaxy and hundreds of years into the future is because the devs want it to have nothing to do with the previous trilogy.

I suppose. I'll just pretend Shepard sent out a signal telling the reapers to go back into darkspace forever so we can evolve on our own and find our own solution to the chaos, on our terms. No synthetics die and I get to live a happy life with Ashley Williams. That's my canon.

I like indoc theory and hoped the extended cut would incorporate it. That didn't happen; BW is standing by their endings for ME3. At this late stage, I wouldn't be happy if they incorporated the endings. That ship sailed.....to Andromeda.
