Nein, nein, nein!
How would you feel about Bioware incorporating the Indoctrination theory into Andromeda some how?

We should not chase bad writing by the devs with bad writing from the fans. We only get to complain if our ideas are better.

They probably want to stay as far as possible from anything related to the ME3 endings but if ME:A is after the events of ME3 then they will have to make one ending canon and I doubt they'd do that which is why I think the characters in ME:A were sent to Andromeda before the reaper invasion.

I dislike Indoctrination theory more then anything BioWare has come up with, so I would be displeased with anything that would indicate BioWare incorporating a fan theory.
Even if BioWare liked the idea, I don't see it happening because developers try to distance themselves from fan content due to how litigious people can be and don't want to open themselves up to a lawsuit.

How would I feel about it? - I would, quite frankly, HATE the idea.
Same here. Frankly, I hate the Indoctrination Theory with the fire of a thousand suns.

Say what? I don't recall any Terminator flicks after T2.
On topic, The IT is the saddest example of fanboy sunk cost fallacy driven denial and mass hysteria I've ever seen. Even calling it "fan fiction" is giving it far more credit than it deserves, it's simply a "get out of bad ending" free card with a "it was just a dream!" lame excuse.

Me too. What I hate about the theory is that it states basically that the ME3 ending (or the whole game) is a lie.

Back in the day according to the ITers(which are nearly as extinct as the dodo these days), Bioware risked alienating their entire fanbase(and future profits) by releasing a game without an ending, in order to release some kind of DLC months after the fact to show off the "big reveal" of the IT(which the extended cut obviously didn't do). Like any kooky conspiracy theory, it collapses like a house of cards the moment someone asks "yeah, but why?".
I remember the first time I saw people discussing the IT i was pretty confused as to wtf they were even talking about, and presumed it was some kind of joke that i wasn't getting like "yeah man, the ending was so bad it had to be a dream!", but much to my horror, they were sincere about it.

Okay... So, wouldn't this be Bioware basically giving the middle finger to everyone who chose Control or Synthesis? The Indoctrination Theory goes something like - "Destroy is the best ending, anyone who chooses Control or Synthesis is indoctrinated and dumb, lol."
Also... you said:
For example, having Shepard being indoctrinated which forced Ryder and her squad to leave the galaxy to escape the Reapers/Shepard.
And since Destroy is the only ending that doesn't leave Shepard Indoctrinated (according to the IT), this would mean that either Control or Synthesis would be made canon. Meaning, that it would also be giving the middle finger to anyone who chose Destroy.
Do you see what you've done now?

Yes, because Bioware game stories are epitomy of originality. ![]()

They can add it as two conspiracy theorists whispering increasingly outlandish theories to each other, indoctrination can cap it off.

Why do people insist on having ME3 related stuff in Andromeda? The reason Andromeda is set in another galaxy and hundreds of years into the future is because the devs want it to have nothing to do with the previous trilogy.
Yes.
Analogous to dropping a big, smelly deuce, and then the first thing you want to do is get as far away as possible....
