[Conrad wakes up in a cold sweat]

Wife: What's wrong?

Conrad: I had the craziest dream. Remember that guy that lived on the Presidium? Shepard? He came to our Christmas party. Danced all weird.

Wife: You mean the guy that spent all his money at the Consort?

Conrad: Yeah. I had this dream that he became the first human Spectre and was saving the galaxy. He put a gun in my face and everyone seemed to just do what he told them. He even hung up on the Council.

Wife: *laughs* I can't imagine what they'd do if someone did that. I mean, you've been a Spectre for years and they'd probably suspend you at the drop of a hat.

The true Mass Effect 3 ending.....eh.

What gives bioware the RIGHT to kill them and let us live. **** You catalyst.

Bio's got the right to kill anyone, anytime. Their universe, their rules.

Can't you see what's happening here? Nobody here has "moved on". I've come to terms with the endings myself but I'm fed up with this constant whining. I just wish bioware would set things right so people shut up. It's never going away. If Andromeda is something really special then hopefully more people can move on.

There's no setting things right.Retconning just gets you a different bunch of whining.

I've moved on plenty. So much so that I don't understand this new game.

edit: Or rather, the need for it.

My Shepard could've convinced the catalyst to just have the Reapers leave forever. Ive got special charisma to make women and aliens to sleep with me and get spectres and one Illusive Man to shoot themselves in the head. I have gained the trust of many dangerous operatives. But no.....I can't just talk down the catalyst. Ah control best ending to me. No unnecessary losses and we get all the Reapers power for good. Shep dies but becomes basically pretty much, A God. Pros and cons. So much for having a family with my LI. Just have sex with them, build up a romance, and die once on em only to die again for a good cause. Eh. I'm not selfish so I wouldn't choose destroy but it is logical to make that on canon but then what is the point. If I were to choose destroy the better have a BIG @$$ monument for EDI and the Geth. They were heroes. They can never be forgotten.

I'm not doing it for me. I'm doing it for all those who want justice. But whatever. I'll have a chill time in Andromeda. It's bigger than the MW anyway. Looked around. There's a whole lot of people who haven't moved on. That's why we have this thread here. Can you not see. I'm not speaking for everyone.

Why is anything you lose in Destroy an unnecessary loss? And if you had the Geth, then you may as well pick Synthesis or Control anyways. You already implicitly give an Aliiance with Reapers by letting Legion live.

I'd only like Control if the story continued. There's no justice in bringing in a new god and leaving it hanging. That story has been told a thousand times, but they are all better versions than this. You don't just end it there.

Are ... are you some kind of BioWare forum superhero?

The poster they deserve, but not the one they need right now?

If bioware has to retcon in order to avoid the endings for Andromeda then I say let the retcons go flying.

If they can make them better of keep them as they are which one would you rather have? I could care less but I can't speak for everyone who says the endings were atrocious and bioware are scum. I'm looking forward to going to Andromeda but I'm just a little sad We'll never run through the beautiful presidium, see what Boston or Chicago look like in the future on Earth, never going to Omega that beautiful ****hole again.Im gonna miss it. Oh well, off to Andromeda for Adventure!!!!!!

but humans are no longer 100% human if u chose Syn ending (other races in the galaxy to) so they have to mention it in dialogue + its nice if it gives some special perks or skills to, all are partly machine, so discarding endings totally makes no sense

Even if Shepard choose Synthesis, the Andromeda humans are unaffected since they left the galaxy before that choice was made, they were out of range from the "space magic" transmitted through the galactic relay system.

They left well before, simple as that. In Andromeda, humanity and whoever else was brought with gets a second chance to try their luck without the "Catalysts" choices or solutions. Either they find their own way to prosper, or the Catalyst was right, in which point nothign matters because you got two test beds. possibly more.

No. I'm just a simple guy who wants peace. I'm no hero. :) The endings happened. I just hope Bioware never does that $#!t again. That'll be justice enough for me I suppose.

You'd be better off just picking Destroy and imagining these things. You don't have to play through a post ME3 destroy world to have it be satisfying.

As for adventure, there's a whole medium of games out there :P

A while. It'll never end. That's just my idealistic view. It's just the endings whining.

I would warm up to that more than Andromeda personally.

I like Destroy, but I think Control had the most future story potential.

Keep them as they are. We've already paid the costs; no sense paying more.

I see destroy as being more canon that control. You have control of the unstoppable Reapers and there is basically peace. But I suppose it's all a matter of imagination right?

Yeah, peace. I don't think so. The galaxy is suddenly ruled by a self-righteous machine. I don't see that going well. I don't care how "Paragon" they are. People woudn't stand for it. edit: If they had any shred of dignity or independence at least.

Well it's controlled by Shep wich is a way better deal than the starchild. You're not really a dictator. More like a protector. That's my view on it.
