How much of the old team (Involved with ME1 & ME2) is left?

One of my main issues is if Bioware start forcing their political agendas on us with a bunch of hamfisted progressive characters. This one of the very few areas I genuinely wish Bioware would take note from Witcher 3 (one of the few because all in all, I think the Mass Effect trilogy is a significantly more consistent trilogy than the Witcher one), Witcher 3 had a homosexual character that simply felt natural. He never told you he was gay every 5 minutes and instead, only admits to being gay when you delve deeper into his dialogue options.

TL;DR Don't build your characters around sexuality, build the sexuality around your characters.

Oh for the love of God. Nothin wrong with cerb in my eyes. They were a good enemy. So what? Are you like Goth or emo?

Then we have to disagree on the matter of Cerberus, since they were used like a hammer when they had been previously portrayed as a scalpel, in addition to constantly attempting to fulfill idiotic goals that don't actually help them. This can be explained by indoctrination, but not in a satisfying way.

I agree for a change of pace

What do you mean? From what I've seen many fans desire ****. If they just make the game as they planned then we'll like it either way. I hey made plenty of games in the past that we've liked. No reason to doubt now.

Try again with less ranting. The customer is always right except with BW (EA)

Are you kidding?  Seems a lot of people who post in the ME:A forum want the game to fail.  They want to rant about how they disliked the last few games, how BioWare suck, how EA suck, how anyone who liked it is a noob, and how they have no hope that this game will be any good.

They want it to fail so they can do their 'I told you so' dance.

Which begs the question, if you're so bloody negative about the whole thing why the hell are you wasting your time here?  Surely you have better things to do?  A certain level of criticism is necessary but the pure bile some ppl spew here irritates the crap outta me.

You know what?  I don't like the Witcher.  I had issues with Dishonored.  I hated Defense Grid 2.  Do I spend my days finding forums in which to shoot down those games in flames?  Nope.  I have better things to do.

Okay sorry nfi42, none of that was aimed at you.  I just needed to rant.

I'm sure you're a lovely person *pats you on the head apologetically*

I'm sick and tired of people using the endings as an excuse to dread this game!!! It wasn't bad before the endings now was it? Jeez

Yes, the endings were that bad.  Though to be fair the Mass Effect trilogy was only so-so to begin with.

Evidently, the ones that caused me to see ME3 as mostly crappy anthropocentric military shlock with Cerberus as a terribly dull and ill-used enemy.

Eh, nothing wrong with a "human story" or one that actually shows military in a positive light.

But yes, Cerberus was a pretty laughably bad enemy.  Bent and twisted to fit whatever role Bioware needed them to fill in a given storyline.

I do not agree. It was great. But they should've prepared for a future after the trilogy. They thought it would be so-so. Well...... look at it now. People love it and people hate it. The haters should go play some Halo 5 while the lovers will be hyped and waiting.

Halo 5 has even less of the things I enjoy in games than Mass Effect.

Hell, part of the problem with Mass Effect is it's trying too hard to be Halo.

Eh, ME3 was pretty terrible plotwise before the endings. Honestly, I liked the ending more than some of the rest of the game.

I didn't think it was any worse than the other 2, honestly. In fact, I'd probably put ME2 well below 1 and 3 in terms of plot.

Anyway, I think this game will do just fine. Unless they seriously bork the living daylights out of it, I'm confident that I'll enjoy myself enough to do multiple playthroughs.

I don't necessarily disagree, but how is that different from ME1? Well, other than the geth being our terribly dull and ill used enemy too.

In ME2, they were fine. In ME3, they turned into the keystone cops. I will admit I do like hearing TAKING CASUALTIES when dealing with them on missions

Be careful lol. A thread was taken down the other day for discussing things like this.

I completely agree with you though it does worry me too. They've hired some people who seem to have some strange agendas. Not sure if she's working on mass effect but bioware hired this girl who cried about virtual rape in GTA V.
