Just because a developer made a game you liked (and I'm assuming you at least like one of their games or... why are you here?), they are not obligated to continue making games you like. They are not even obligated to make games at all.

I see people get so angry at Bioware for taking their games in a direction these people aren't a fan of and it baffles me. If BW stop making games I enjoy, I will simply leave and that will be the end of it. I won't berate the people that worked hard to make games I have loved just because they're not doing it anymore. They have no responsibility to me. I am not entitled to a "good" game as I define "good". I will be sad if it ever happens but I won't be angry. Just because you bought one game or even ten games, you are not entitled to a future of gaming happiness from Bioware.

The setting and the characters don't belong to the fans; they belong to the people that created them. If you don't like the next game or didn't like ME3, what have you lost? Nothing. Not even what could have been because it never would have been. Raging that BW should be making games the way you feel they should be made is unproductive. Coming here to crap all over everyone else's excitement because you're in a strop because you didn't get what you wanted is childish.

I'm sick of it.

I'm sick and tired of people using the endings as an excuse to dread this game!!! It wasn't bad before the endings now was it? Jeez

I don't dread it for the endings, which I thought were fine. I dread it for all the things they have thrown away and/or will throw away for this new game.

I don't necessarily disagree, but how is that different from ME1? Well, other than the geth being our terribly dull and ill used enemy too.

The negative aspects of ME1 were improved upon later, while the positive ones were screwed over. I consider it a good thing if the first game in a series can be solidly said to be the worst, as it means that the developers improved.

Oh yeah? Like what? Same people, same places? Same galaxy?

To name a few:

Every location in the Milky Way

The Mass Relays, one of the iconic symbols of the franchise

Depending on how we get there, the established lore of the setting

That's your problem then.

Wow, what a great retort you have there. Instead of trying to address my answer to your question, you instead go to employing juvenile tactics.

Are you kidding? Seems a lot of people who post in the ME:A forum want the game to fail. They want to rant about how they disliked the last few games, how BioWare suck, how EA suck, how anyone who liked it is a noob, and how they have no hope that this game will be any good.
They want it to fail so they can do their 'I told you so' dance.

Which begs the question, if you're so bloody negative about the whole thing why the hell are you wasting your time here? Surely you have better things to do? A certain level of criticism is necessary but the pure bile some ppl spew here irritates the crap outta me.
You know what? I don't like the Witcher. I had issues with Dishonored. I hated Defense Grid 2. Do I spend my days finding forums in which to shoot down those games in flames? Nope. I have better things to do.

Okay sorry nfi42, none of that was aimed at you. I just needed to rant.
I'm sure you're a lovely person *pats you on the head apologetically*

It seems people already have BioWare on watch where they're going to screwup.

Isn't parodying the guy who's responsible for ME3's ending in the video a bit of an own goal??

A lot of that might be true, I wouldn't know.  I just know that I'm reserving judgement until I play ME:A, and Trespasser was so good that it gives me hope tbh.

That channel is dedicated to tearing down game developers and anyone else in the industry because their "fans" scream at them to in the comments section. They are first grade losers that contribute nothing to the discussion of gaming, which would be fine if they were actually funny but they're not.

Well it made sense of what he said that people are leaving BioWare left and right, and people are not getting their hopes up about the game. But we'll see how they can pull this off.
