Just because a developer made a game you liked (and I'm assuming you at least like one of their games or... why are you here?), they are not obligated to continue making games you like. They are not even obligated to make games at all.
I see people get so angry at Bioware for taking their games in a direction these people aren't a fan of and it baffles me. If BW stop making games I enjoy, I will simply leave and that will be the end of it. I won't berate the people that worked hard to make games I have loved just because they're not doing it anymore. They have no responsibility to me. I am not entitled to a "good" game as I define "good". I will be sad if it ever happens but I won't be angry. Just because you bought one game or even ten games, you are not entitled to a future of gaming happiness from Bioware.
The setting and the characters don't belong to the fans; they belong to the people that created them. If you don't like the next game or didn't like ME3, what have you lost? Nothing. Not even what could have been because it never would have been. Raging that BW should be making games the way you feel they should be made is unproductive. Coming here to crap all over everyone else's excitement because you're in a strop because you didn't get what you wanted is childish.
I'm sick of it.
