Is it easy to change the weapons I can use as an Adept? I'm a bit bored with Pistols and SMGs - wouldn't mind giving myself ARs instead.

Well the hardest thing is fixing coalesced so the game runs. There is an ini fixer that will need to be run on it after you make your edit. I don't know if there are better tools for this now, I haven't done this since I made the AR Vanguard.
---
Use a decent text editor like notepad++ and open coalesced.ini
Look for the section called: [SFXGame.SFXPlayerSquadLoadoutData]
The line you are looking for should be this:
PlayerLoadoutInfo=(ClassName=SFXPawn_PlayerAdept,WeaponClasses=(LoadoutWeapons_HeavyPistols,LoadoutWeapons_AutoPistols,LoadoutWeapons_HeavyWeapons))
For reference you can use the Soldier line to see syntax for the other weapon classes:
PlayerLoadoutInfo=(ClassName=SFXPawn_PlayerSoldier,WeaponClasses=(LoadoutWeapons_AssaultRifles,LoadoutWeapons_Shotguns,LoadoutWeapons_HeavyPistols,LoadoutWeapons_SniperRifles,LoadoutWeapons_HeavyWeapons))
The interesting thing about changing the weapon training of the class like this is that it will change your weapon options on DCC. So if you add in ARs it will let you take the Revenant.

A late response but to edit the Coalesced yoiu are better off using this editor for the task http://social.biowar...m/project/1854/.
It will let you not only make changes but fix the file, so no need for another program, and it has a backup function so you can save a copy easily if you don't like the changes (or they mess something up).

I'm just using MEFixer where it just adds/removes spaces to get the character count to match up.

That of course works but I find the editor much easier to use and it has everything needed for editing built right in.
There is even some important locations set, so you can jump to things such as weapon loadouts and health settings with ease.
