Soldier here.

What about you guys?

Also, you guys think this game will have new classes ? Does anyone have a good suggestion for them? And for new powers?

Melee-centric vanguard. I'll try the others eventually, but punchy vanguard speaks to my heart of hearts.

Soldier. Same as before. I tend to lean towards the meatier classes (Soldier, Warrior, Fighter etc.) and always play them first.

"Infiltrator". Gotta test out those sniper rifles before wowing about how they were during the "Golden Years" of ME.

lol same. Also its good to have acess to ALL weapons that the game has to offer. All my builds in the Bethesda's games, for example, start with a simple question: What will be my reliable weapon ?

Probably sentinel, giving me the chance to play with biotics but not be reliant on them just yet.  I love being an adept but feel like I actually need to understand what I'm doing before I can tackle it.

Then I'll go for my standard pistols and sniper rifles, it's the easiest way for me to play.

Sentinel, I love the tech/bio mix. Plus power armor looks cool, here's hoping we get a omni-shield.

Power-based Vanguard  (offensive-tank, raw power)

OR

Power-based Sentinel  (support-tank, high-power combos)

For the Vanguard, I'm glad they're keeping the Biotic Charge, there likely isn't much that needs to change (mostly just prevent ME2-style bugs from happening)

For the Sentinel, I'd like to be able to choose the color of my Tech Armor (minor thing, since I like the gold/amber color it has anyway)

I think it would be interesting to have an "Elementalist" flavor to the classes, such as a Fire-power Sentinel with Incinerate and Inferno Grenade or a Cryo-power Soldier that has a souped-up Cryo Ammo and a Cryo-Grenade.  It could be a bit like Specializations (in concept) from Dragon Age.

Or maybe you could trade-off one ability for another, not so you could make a class super-ultra-overpowered, but make it YOURS:

(off the top of my head)

Base Class: SENTINEL

Overload

Cryo Blast

Throw

Warp

Class Variation: ASSAULT SENTINEL

Disruptor Ammo

Cryo Ammo

Throw

Warp

Class Variation: TANK SENTINEL

Overload

Cryo Blast

Barrier

Reave

The idea is that the core class substance remains "true to the class", but the flavor it takes can be flexible, just like a B.L.T. needs Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato to be a B.L.T., but there are different kinds of lettuce, and different ways to cook the bacon, and even different kinds of tomatoes.

You wouldn't be able to switch out a Tech Power for a Biotic Power if you're an Infiltrator or Engineer (barring any sort of bonus power, since there's no restriction on those excepting that you can only pick one at a time), but you could switch out one Biotic power for another Biotic power if you're, say, a Vanguard or Sentinel.

Taking that a step further (and I'm sure I've said this before, somewhere)

Having a "blank-slate" class (using ME3 character screen as a reference):

CLASS PASSIVE

FITNESS

SIGNATURE POWER (primary)

UNIQUE POWER (secondary)

COMMON POWER 1

COMMON POWER 2
COMMON POWER 3
COMMON POWER 4
BONUS POWER

--------

Offensive Mastery (Class Passive: Sentinel)

Fitness (Sentinel)

Biotic Charge (Signature)

Nova (Unique)

Throw (Common)

Warp (Common)

Incendiary Ammo (Common)

Warp Ammo (Common)

Barrier (Bonus)

--------

Anyway, I'll try Vanguard first, and then Sentinel.

I like both, but Vanguard was my first.

Adept. Although I'm kinda torn, because I like to go melee at times, so Vanguard is an option, too. So I really hope, with the new enhanced combat system, that there will also be a better melee system, like being able to chain different (class specific?) melee attacks, instead of just going for one punch and that's it.

Just let me be able to do a biotic drop kick, over an obstacle, send an andromedanian to the milky way, and you'll get all the money I have and I will make ME:A game of the year, BioWare. Believe me. I have a very specific set of skills, that make me a nightmare, for other developers...

Not sure yet. I'll probably decide on a whim (with combo classes having a slightly higher chance). Though one thing is sure. If Soldier is similar to its trilogy version, then I'm not touching this class first.

imo...It wasn't a bad choice until the third game... then their main strength was given everywhere. By that point though, I didn't want to change classes.. that's even more tacky.

Infiltrator or Vanguard. I'll probably flip a coin to decide between the two.

I don't think any class is bad choice. They have their good and bad sides. I just don't like where they did with Soldier's skill set.

I wont be deciding anything until I see decent amount of gameplay for each one. Assuming they don't mess it up and are able to make it interesting, I'll probably go Adept - since it's the class I had the most fun with throughout the series.

I never really cared much for their skills (the little there was). I see soldiers being more for shooter fans. Except they gave everyone any weapon in ME3.

But anyways... Engineer should be a neat change of pace.
