I mean, unless they give some other class really cool stuff.

Jesus, no man. One class with the "SUPER COOOOOOOOOOOL DUDE" factor is enough.

Sentinel, Adept and Infiltrator as already perfect.

Sentinel - tech armor is awesome and this class masterize the combos

Adept - i like the concept and singularity is fun against Cerberus goons that is about to drop the shuttles

infiltrator - they dont need to be a sniper. Kazumi for example, is a melee ninja.

in Mass Effect 3 soldier is not special anymore. They need to work in this class and the engineer too. Special the engineer. Although that colored ball flying through the scenario and distributing shock to everyone amuses me. Excellent for crowd control.

Maybe i will try the one that looks more interesting from the gameplays that they will show.

I don't play MP, so I can't speak to that. 10K was talking about nova, so I was just responding to that. Charge is the unique skill to this class so I don't think it should be downplayed. Does the cool-down and barrier perks make it overpowered? Can't say. I still think it all comes down to the player. Charging up your barrier's isn't always going to save you. It hasn't always saved me.

My squadmates are invaluable support for me. With biotic and tech combinations a lot of damage can be dealt, or sometimes something is just fun like cryo-blasting a group of baddies and then shattering them. Yes. As a vanguard I'm not super equipped to handle shielded foes, so there's a need there. There's also the many times when Garrus saved me by plunking an enemy in my face.

I don't see the support. There's just dissonance between what the vanguard is and the type of game these mimic (cover based squad shooters). It's like the Vanguard lives in some other Arcade-ish world, slinging around, demolishing everything. That and the games are already very easy. I wouldn't need a squad even if they were more useful.

That doesn't mean it isn't fun. Just that it makes the experience very player-centric.

Adept. There's just nothing more satisfying than never using a gun because you're too busy throwing everyone around.

Definitely Engineer then Sentinel. Loved the Drones and Turrents, Tech armor was also good i think.

I hope BW come up with more new powers that differentiate classes even more, ME3 multi quite a lot, i hope they bring over some from there.

Mind over matter, Adept or Vanguard. Maybe engineer if it looks more interesting.

(assuming I like the game and actually buy it)

Definitely Vanguard for me I absolutely fell in love with that class starting in ME2 even though it was pretty much the last class I tried. After that I went back to ME1 to get a proper Vanguard save, granted its not that special in ME1 but biotic charge in 2/3 is just too much fun for me.

Infiltrator or Sentinel... (now if Bioware gives a real turret to the engineer like the Cerberus dude... perhaps)

Vanguard. I always loved warrior/mage classes.

Instead of a stationary turret, you need something like this:

It's like a turret, but it follows you around! ;)

It's like the turret of TF2, but with tracks!

I'll give Vanguard priority if we get Phase Disruptor

Adept for sure!

(I just hope I'll be able to biotic boooom everything - so here's to hoping Bioware kept the mechanic of biotic explosions)

Engineer or adept for my first couple of playthroughs. I adore the power-focused classes. Bouncing enemies around with biotics, stripping all their defences, and sending my little robot minions to bother them. It's wonderful. Hopefully engineers get combat drones again. I'd like it if my combat drone hangs around in the cabin when I'm on the ship. Kind of like Liara and Glyph.

Third playthrough would probably be infiltrator, since I like sniper rifles and being at long range. I also really liked being able to go invisible.

I usually start with soldier,  because I started out playing FPS's mostly.  Soldier is never my favorite in Bioware games,  so it might be time to change it up.

Probably a hybrid class and I'll choose the one that the one who's skill tree I fancy.

My Shepard was a soldier, but since I love the vanguard class even more (dat charge), I can't help but make my first Ryder a vanguard.

I'm hoping for some more remarks from people about Ryder being a biotic, as well.

If we had a melee weapon, I'd either be Infiltrator or Vanguard.

If we don't, then I go Adept.

Vanguard, Soldier or Engineer. Can't decide (and maybe the classes are completely different in Andromeda to what i was used to all the time. So I'll wait patiently for more game mechanic infos). My FemShep was always female Vanguard at first playthrough, so i try another class with femRyder on my first run maybe.

Xenobiologist!  So cool - I can explore worlds... develop antidotes for regional toxins... cures for alien diseases... it'll be.. hrmmm.. no Xenobiologist?

Okay...

Diplomat!  I can learn about the new cultures... speak with important higher ups and impress them with my knowledge of their language and dialect and build a better future for..... what's that?  No?  Oh...

How about...

Civic engineer!  Oh... nice.  I can be on the ground floor laying out plans for farming... water... power... defensive.  Answering the real problems the colonies will have on a day to day basis to survive... man... nail biting stuff... but, uh, not in game you say?

Oh... okay.

Combat Obstacle Course Runner of course... blasting nameless rejects with a dozen flavors of "blam".

This is totally offtopic but your profile pic is hilarious :D

Also yes the engineer needs a proper turret, I've yet to finish a single play-through with the engineer class because imo it's the most boring class in the series.

Hopefully that means they'll focus on improving it.
