Knowing people, I'm sure someone in Thedas has tried it. I'm also very sure no one has succeeded.
Besides, I thought there was supposed to be some ambiguity as to whether Dragons really are just clever animals. The Tevinter dragon gods were real, after all... or they were SOMETHING, which is why Archdemons look like dragons. Dragons have some kind of connection to magic. We don't know what yet.

Bran will warg into one of them and Jon will be able to command them in the same way that Dany can order them to breathe fire. They will listen to Jon, and Bran will just do whatever the f- he wants because he's a bada- now.
