Opinions on preference, damage and ammo effects are the norm in this series but would people prefer if the mods actually featured more? Such as different visuals or scope purposes, heartbeat monitors, scent tracking or even ammo that had non-lethal, attract attention or tag & track purposes. More of a Gun smith utility?

Oh nice, scent tracking, I could hunt my enemies down with my varren *evil laugh* XD

Heartbeat monitors always reminds me of the Aliens movies *trauma* but yes, why not ~

Hm that would be pretty neat, could actually properly customize weapons? although in doing so it might swing more towards a CoD sort of territory which i do not want as they are all the same damn game

You have a point here XD

But if you want to target only one person on a group, it still could be useful !

I would like a heartbeat monitor on my omni tool.

I just want compelling alternatives for weapon mods such that it doesn't always make sense to basically just use the same two for practically everything in one class.

Yea, changing the functionality of the weapon is what I want from my mods. Not just adding damage or changing ammo type.

Some good ideas.  I am just finally playing tw3 now and a few of these witcher sense follow the tracks kind of things are a pretty good addition.

More mod variety would be nice so I don't use the same 2 mods on basically every gun.

Although I feel like it should be broken up into slots like barrel, scope, body, stock, etc.

If I only have 2 total mods and one is a +25% damage, there's a good chance I'm always going to take that damage mod with me. Having one per category would allow damage mods to exist for say barrels without feeling like I should be taking it over something with utility.

Bullets that shout "BANG!" in high pitched voices. A novelty, if not practical.

But in all seriousne- nah I was being serious.
