Should i play them befor or after i finish the main game? Coz i thought Shepard died or something! Is this like a dream sequences or what? I have never played ME3 so just wondering!
So i dont get it about DLC?

They're all supposed to be integrated in the main story.. you can choose when/how you'll play them. While some only unlock elements after the Citadel coup mission.
But no, Shepard doesn't die. 
Errr....not unless you want to, I guess.

As above. It's not like Fallout4 when it's only very loosely related to the main story. The DLC all add to the main story. Leviathan is a very good DLC to learn more about the Reapers.

I've actually just compiled a mission order guide. (It's as Spoiler-free as I could make it, but it contains information about full mission order from the game some some hints about the overall plot are in place simply because of the names and locations.)
This question comes up more than you would think. I did this for myself, but maybe others will find it helpful.
