I just found out that the N7 guy's helmet is imprinted with "TX4877". It's his military code maybe.

In ME trilogy Shepard was just presented as one of the N7 program trainees, the badass of badasses in the Alliance. I think it's pretty good we could get a little more unique details about this character not just him being an N7.

Maybe he's us....... I don't believe bio when they told us that hes not the PC. Why is the cloth on his armor orange and not red as we've seen? Could it be the planet dust? I don't think so. In 2014 we've seen our male and female hero'swearing the same thing with N7. I'm sure Bio isn't gonna throw N7 under the bus like that. They have an N7 day. Shep was N7. They created DLC MP characters who were N7 and they were Awesome. Just because you don't see fem Ryder with N7 armor doesn't mean jack. We could be former N7. We have the same armor as the "N7 guy" only different colors and it has AI. Maybe he's the Male protagonist. In the gameplay leak you see him with his mask off with three characters,Cora and Drak, our confirmed squadmate. We see the man in the same armor being controlled and boosting twice and you see a mako symbol. If we are not N7 then Why are we wearing that armor. The leak is conform. You see him in trailer with a customizable chest piece and helmet on. I'm betting he's us. That's what I believe.

Again, I've never heard, that Bio said anything about the N7 guy not being the protagonist. Somebody must've picked it up from "shinobi" or some "leak" and since then it was BioWare. Can someone link me to the place where it was BioWare, not some news site, not some reddit comment, that said he was not the protagonist?

Back to topic.

Good catch there. It could have some meaning, but it could also be some random constellation of numbers they rolled with a dice. Maybe it will be clarified in the novels or the game itself, that the first number means he's from division Y, the second number that he graduated there, the third and forth that he was in squad X. Who knows.

They said it one of the developers but I do not believe them. It was on Twitter. Saw it myself.

wow, so many unconfirmed leaks and confirmed info which you think is a lie that confirm he is broRyder. Bravo.

Joke aside, I'm not speculating anything here, just want to show some facts, you got your opinion here is pretty good actually. We don't know much info about ME:A. Everything is possible.

I believe the leaks because everything we've seen is true so far. Until I get solid info on N7 day I'm going to believe whoever said "N7 guy" is not PC is just screwing around to keep things quiet and to keep us guessing. Why even make a huge deal about N7 and showing MEA info on N7 day and not making the protag N7? Back in 2014 and 15 the were shots of the protagonist wearing N7 armor. I can only keep my fingers crossed. We probably are N7 and maybe on the slight chance that N7 guy isn't us but I just want PC Ryder to be N7. It represents more than just the Alliance's elite special forces operatives. It is a symbol of the Mass Effect universe. That's what it means to me.

Shinobi602 didn't leak the N7 guy isn't protagonist. It was confirmed by BioWare in their official blog http://blog.bioware....ect-andromeda/

I know it's all but confirmed, but I really hope we're not military this time around, forget N7.

My bet is that an N7 designation is something the PC will achieve in game rather than starting with it. Makes more sense in a game where we start at low level, too.

You just answered a question BioWare asked 2 years ago. But you know BioWare does not usually keep the same stereotype in a sequel. N7 that guy represents probably is a quite different concept in ME:A.

The code can also just for that helmet from the manufacturer, so if there is any problem they will know which batch. Not everything that is on an armor is military related.

Make sense. A growing hero is more related to us and gives us a sense of accomplishment like DA series. I love Shep because he/she is great all the time (dat renegade interrupt tho :P ). I feel like I just idolized Shep instead of myself being Shep. Because whatever dialog I choose it's not like me in real life even it's awesome, except for "I should go". So the grey choices SuperMac talked about recently is actually a smart move. I'm looking forward to that.

We're military trained explorers. We've been trained in combat but new to exploring. Kind of hard to survive in an expedition if we don't have military training or a high degree of combat training.

What's hard? Weapons training is one thing, and a given. But there's no reason why your character has to be military as opposed to accompanied by military.

Playing another military character would be boring, And honestly, N7 is more appropriately synonymous with Shepard than with the IP itself. They should retire it.

You also find those "codes" on weapons, vehicles, equipment, and architecture through out the trilogy.

They are aesthetically pleasing but nothing more.

I strongly disagree. They named a day after it. November the 7th. So.....we have no military training on how to use our powers for combat, only been to the gun range a few times, No experience fighting enemies, accompanied by trained military professionals(survey info that is pretty solid) so we are just some Noob? Noob to exploring Andromeda. We are obviously combat trained. We've seen it in the leak, trailers, and info from the leaks. Sure just give the reigns of this expedition to someone who doesn't know how to hold his/her own in combat. Military professionals are the best of the best. What you say makes no sense. We are a trained warrior. This is a third person shooter we're we are fighting for now new home for humanity and other races. This is an RPG with a focus on combat and you're suggesting we're not trained in the art of combat? I don't know about that.

Military trained field researcher. Can't fight for jack if you don't have professional training. Without it you're Nothing but a trigger happy civilian whos only shot at cans and cannot hold his/her own in real combat. Obviously we have to have background training. Nothing cooler than an former military operative turned scientist and Pathfinder. Like mordin.

They named a day after it because it's cute marketing.

And that's an inspired takeaway from what I actually wrote.

It's a symbol of the mass effect universe just like Halo's Spartan program. It's a big deal obviously. You can't deny it.You see it in every trailer.

I'm willing to settle for scientist whose received military training.
