Yes.

I would not be surprised if they bring Shepard back for another game.

Noooooooo! He's dead! He's dead! I tell you!!!!!

I'm more of expecting Mass Effect 7 to start another separate trilogy in Triangulum galaxy. Maybe after that EA will reboot the universe.

I actually see that being very unlikely, more so than BioWare bothering to bring back the MW part of the MEU. I think that Andromeda will be the setting in which this franchise ends.

If Andromeda does well, and I believe it will, I don't see the franchise ending. At least not any time soon

My Shepard is alive and well. She is currently in Vancouver having drinks with Samantha

Well I don't see them making an ending canon.

So I don't really ever see them continuing it since the endings we did get made a mess of the whole thing.

I know. Then no more MW.

My Shepard is living happily in his apartment on the citadel with Ashley and two kids. The Reapers are gone and EDI/ Geth are not dead.

No chance. The entire reason we're going to Andromeda is because those endings are unworkable.

Destroy seems like a pretty workable ending to me - it breaks the cycle and finishes off the Reapers. Yeah, the geth and Edi are gone (which I think is relatively minor thing from the grand perspective), the relays are gone - but I'm sure there could be a way found around that (Aethyta mentiones the Asari should starting building their own relays, so perhaps they were on the verge of cracking the technology).

The main problem here is to actually canonize the ending - I think a lot of players would be annoyed "but this is not what I chose".

Either way, I think we're going to stay in Andromeda for a while... if they decide to do another trilogy, then it's a long way back to Milky Way (wonder if by then people have forgotten about the ME endings :D )

They can rebuild everything sure but EDI and the Geth are gone. That doesnt sit well with me. But let's just say we won't be going back to MW anytime soon.

Well they could call those who didn't chose destroy "indoctrinated idiots"  and claim that the starbrat just wanted you to kill yourself so it gave you two choices to do so. Imagine the rage :D

What if the entire trilogy was a dream of shepard and he/she wake up in the middle of a demon attack on mars... oh wait!

Eventually, maybe as a reboot. Or just long enough in the future that complaints about implicitly canonising an ending won't matter so much.

By then, there are far too many stories in Andromeda to bother going back.

On the other hand, if Andromeda does well, that could be incentive to just stay there for the duration of the franchise. After all, with this move, BioWare will be establishing all new places for players to become familiar with, not to mention any new alien species that just won't exist in the Milky Way.

I like to think that my Shepard is still living on the Citadel, and eventually gets in with a racing crowd that uses suped up skycars to tear across the Wards when she's not spending time helping the Armax Arsenal Arena improve its gameplay for fresh players.

I am 99.9999999% sure that Bioware, despite their talk about how choices matter and there is no canon ending, will eventually find a way to make the events of Andromeda 1, 2, or 3 influence the Milky Way in such a way that the ME3 choices are homogenized.

Then we will have a series that takes place in two galaxies. I wouldn't object.

Or, and I might be the only one who might of thought of this, if Andromeda does well, the current ME team continues making games in that galaxy while EA has another team continue in the Milky Way.

Call it 'The Citadel 500'.

You get an ending I wasn't aware of?

They kind of have to at some point, otherwise people in 20 years from now will look back at Mass Effect and go:

"Hey, remember when the end of the original trilogy was so bad they literally moved to another galaxy and continued the franchise from there because the lead writer cried out "artistic integrity" and refused to retcon the ending of 3?"

Nope. I'm looking forward to Mass Effect: Triangulum next. And there are 40 other galaxies in our Local Galactic Group. Do it, BioWare.

In other news, your Shepard does not exist. Fortunately, we're going to Andromeda, so it doesn't matter

So that's the real identity of the Doom Marine. Fantastic!

No wonder he fights like hell and scares the shite outta the demons.

If they know what's good for them.

Kind of the same deal when they wiped out the Transformers back in the 80s. All the cool autobots were gone. Replaced by b-grade posers like Hot Rod and the Insecticons.

But no matter what, people will always associate Transformers with Optimus. Eventually, all the new material did too.
