Probably old news again, but after switching to English language pack, I found out that Reactor Hazard map has subtitles for all the core-venting PA messages. Russian version had nothing of the sort.

The Russian version wants you to die, apparently.

The translation overall is slightly better than awful, but this... I didn't expect this :D

The russian translators probably thought "Look at those canadians sissies, they are afraid of a little dip of radioactivity !".

Russian localization is very sloppy, both in SP and MP. The icing on the cake was one of the weekend operations where "fire" was transliterated ("фирэ") rather than translated ("огонь").

I cooked a Volus in the Reactor just last night.  To get revenge one of the other team members tried to kill us all during a hack, and I watched all three of them drop because he actually ran back inside.  After that we were all pretty nervous about being inside and watcing the pretty lights.

umh. For that, in Dante's inferno you'll be in the 8th Circle and in the First Ring level of "seducers".

But in the Internet Inferno you've earned much harsher punishment 8th Circle and 8th  Ring : Trolls.

And now I regret that I'm not photoshop-skilled enough to make a Russian version of this :D

(Wonder how long before the thread gets closed)

It's natural - those are the Circle 8 Ring 1 : "spoiler whiners" that will complain. We know 4 of them. But then "behind the monitor" thread must be closed and a number of other ones, also.

OT: I'm happy to have no subtitles - I failed to understand what that guy was talking about anyway for the first 10 games. Only a fellow player reminded me that it would be nice to also have my bum in the LZ at extraction (ok he was less diplomatic).

Translators couldn't figure out whether "Поехали!" was appropriate when someone got locked into the core.

Under construction since 40 years. They're sourcing workers, from circle 8 ring 8 to dig the hole, but did't reckon that those people were so useless. Don't worry, it will be freshly painted by the time ME:A is finished. They have inside connections that tells them that Berlin Brandenburg will be finished before ME:A.
