This argument is a waste of time.

I'll go out on a limb and say that, with all available information and current trends, everything about Andromeda will be terrible except for the Multiplayer, which will likely be an improvement.

It will probably sell well. At the end of the day that's probably all that matters.

You'd love it. But I guess you'll never know so still your loss. You gain nothing.

If it consists of real-time shooter combat, I would hate it.

Having to deal with people while I did it would make it even worse.

The first one.....WTF? The second. I've met some cool people in ME3 MP. No kids.

Symmetrical mechanics would fix that. If we had symmetrical mechanics in single-player, they would have already removed stun-lock as a possibility.

I suppose that's why the Geth are known for having tons of stagger against us, and was a major complaint about ME3 MP.

They just weren't as bad as a player would be about it, because players will be smarter than AI.

Particularly since it seems to have sprung from nothing, as I don't think this thread's intended trajectory was ever truly defined.

I quite like playing against Geth, but I do really hate rocket troopers, hunters, bombers, pyros, primes and their drones.

Is any threads trajectory ever truly defined? It's hits a certain point and becomes bickering.

The first one.....WTF?

I loathe fast-paced action. I haven't even attempted a straight up shooter this century.

When I play ME, I pause incessantly.

The second. I've met some cool people in ME3 MP. No kids.

Meeting people is unappealing to me under almost all circumstances, particularly when I'm gaming.

Fear? This is BSN, some people fear anything:

  • Flawed
  • Evidence
  • Appears
  • Real

Multiplayer a flaw?

  • Some people have no interest
  • Some play it a little
  • Some play it a lot

It's certainly not a flaw but it is a choice.

But their timing and aim should be better, so that might balance out.

First, what's your bet? I'll place a side-bet that Sylvius is over three times your age

mid 30's or early 40's. so sylvius is 54? I'm 18. I'm starting to think that I'm the youngest person on this forum. I don't really know anyone my age on this forum. Everyone else seems to be in the 20's or 30's.

In my Mass Effect 2 sniper rifle only playthrough I have yet to actually miss a shot, so I don't know so much about "better aim" =P

Both timing and aim is dependent on coding though. In Mass Effect 3 the AI updates your location every set amount of frames, which if I remember right was every 15 frames.

Which actually means the enemies get more accurate at 60 FPS compared to 30.

It gets fun when you change that number to every frame, though.

...

****I haven't seen much but from what I've seen or heard the game only haves one true flaw... Multiplayer

This phrase is more about feeling that rational thinking. Allow me to explain.

When playing a Mass Effect game, I always have an unique feeling of playing a grand, epic game but also a very personal, intimate experience, my world, my decisions my experience, so pardon me but Multiplayer doesn't feel right according to what I feel when playing a Mass Effect game.

That said, Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer is not the best option in the market but, is definitely a funny, competitive experience if you like the action on Mass Effect 3 you will love it.

Ye, you should probably see for yourself rather than making stuff up.

That's actually one of the aspects I like about BSN.  Despite all the inane and frustrating romance threads, the range of POV's makes for an interesting dynamic.  I'm pushing 50 and I know there a quite a few older.  It's pretty amazing that a videogame franchise can bring together such a broad range of people, not just age, but race, national origin, gender, and social status.  That's damn cool.

EDIT: I should have also mentioned...that's why there tends to be...disagreements.

I told me the exact same thing when I realized that they were younger and older BSNers than me all around the forum :) Also I adore talking with people around the world !

I lose that bet, then. I considered betting 2.5x, but I thought that would have sounded a bit fussy. I was also estimating SKAR at 16 or thereabouts.
