Just played a Gold PUG with an extremely weird glitch. I was hosting, everything went well until Wave 10. We got an escort objective. When we climbed the stairs of the main Giant building, the drone just disappeared, and I started hearing very annoying glitching sounds. The timer also disappeared, so we spent several more minutes killing the enemies, getting scores more characteristic for Platinum (about 650k in total). Then I got sync-killed, and immediately after my death, my teammates received the "Mission complete" message (and the annoying sounds disappeared as well).

The drone unloaded and that's what happens. It glitched out of the map.

Yes, it happens sometimes on inclines. The highest number of times I've seen it is on Vancouver. But most of the times I wasn't the host.

OP the same has happened to me hosting on London,the drone disappeared just outside the finish,then the squelchy noise.After killing ****-tons of enemies,I finally had to quit and rejoin the match(since I had friends in the match to join).

I've had similar drone problems a few times on London, and once on Vancouver. Iirc, i wasn't the host. On London, we were escorting it through the central flat area towards the long stairs up, and the damn ball just floated off beyond our reach over the end of the map, behind a big crate between those long stairs, and onwards under the 2nd floor. It even hovered for a while over there, complaining about needing assistance.

I tried my sweetest "Here, drone drone drone" drone call, but it wouldn't budge.

I've rejoined a match and got all of my points back. Best match ever!

I have no way to reproduce that, of course, but it seems that you have to get the host killed (bled out/executed/sync-killed) to continue, without more extreme measures such as quitting/rejoining.

Had that happen to me just now, hosting a Silver match on London. Just as N7-Specter described. Sadly, had to leave the match...

You should have tried getting yourself sync-killed or stomped.

Had that happen too many times on that map. One collector match the pug exhausted the wave budget. The next wave the game in final revenge just s*** it's pants and that was that.
