Maybe we'll get a mission where we have to choose one planet to save. The planets will have blue, red and green aliens. :)

To be clear : rancorous ? I'm not ^^ (and never was actually)
I just think it's better for BW to move on because if they do jokes about the endings, you can be sure many people will obviously complain about it (I mean, it's already 4 years and people still continue to argue against each others or want a canon ending) so I will quote Rascoth :

thanks for the hard laugh

Mmmh, I never said you were, did I? There are however some people who can't seem to let go around here, judging with the number of threads still devolving into the same old debates over the endings we've had since the release of ME3. You'd think at some point, moving on and having a good laugh about it would be healthier.

People will complain about something anyway. I firmly believe we can laugh about anything. It all depends on the context and how it's done. Considering the Mako will be customable, you could have a reaction from the mechanic saying s/he'd rather be colourblind if you choose to have the RGB colours on it. Or some Asari complaining about her red and green suit making her look like a Smurf in a christmas tree

As someone who still thinks the endings are utter trash even with the EC, I'd be down with them joking about it in a bit of a self-deprecating way.

Like, for instance, Ryder goes to choose an armor and the only colors are red, blue and green, with the quartermaster belatedly explaining that, yes it sucks, but these are all the colors they got.

Nope, I know, but I was against the idea and you was for it. I wanted to reply to your post so I just stated what I was thinking about the ending before replying ;) Sorry for the misunderstanding ~ (haha, when you think about it I wrote "to be clear" and I wasn't at all XD)

I totally understand what you mean by a good laugh, I even agree, now as I said, I'm just scared it would have the opposite effect ~

We'll go into a bar somewhere in andromeda and the bartender will ask "What's your colour?" and we'll say "blue", "green" or "red", and then we'll get served a drink the colour of our choice and when we drink it, because of our physiology, we'll start hallucinating explosions in the colour of the drink we just drank. And uh, then... *thinking, thinking*.... then... then nothing. Oh no wait, then we pass out, and wake up an hour later gasping for air (if you drink the red one) and with a massive Galaxy shattering hangover (unless you drank the blue, the blue one doesn't get you drunk because you're in 'control' with the blue one), then we try the other colours.

Or you can refuse the drinks, because you're teetotal. And smash all three glasses and punch the bartender in the face for making you choose.

The green one should give you a green rash that passes in a minute or two.

I'd think it was funny. It was a bad ending to a four (five by the time the game comes out) year-old videogame and not in a way that was racist or anything like that. Let it go.

I actually hope that they don't make a multi-colored joke.

We're probably getting an indoctrination theory joke first.

Citadel DLC was already making fun of multiplayer behaviour, it won't be long.

There needs to be a campfire scene where a group of aliens debates if the flame is at war.

I always thought Yanick meant this as a joke about the ending controversy, given the colour scheme:

First pass at Design Document for the next Mass Effect! #sorryforthetrees

Eh they joked about it in the citadel dlc when Zaeed was playing that claw game.  I don't really care if they do or not.  I was never offended by the endings.  The EC worked for me.

So we all know about the ending of MA3 and the color coding.  My question is:  How long till Bioware dose a joke about it?  Like at some point in Andromeda do they do a color coding joke?  Or do they wait a while and do it in another franchise or a future Mass Effect game?

That sh-t ain't funny... *gives the stink eye*

If they're clever, they'll hide it somehow so it's less than obvious. Like, a language change. Or something in the background.

Say there's a cafe, and we see three NPCs sitting at a table chatting. They complain about how all the drinks taste the same... but if you angle the camera to look in the cups, you'll see they're red, blue, and green drinks.

We're probably getting an indoctrination theory joke first.

I imagine a stoner, honestly.

'Like, you ever wondered if any of this is real, maaaaan? Like, what if  this is all a dream? What if, we're, like, all the imagination of someone who's really on Earth?'

There will probably be something that we won't be able to interact with in the three colors.

Or we'll find a building that contains three doors, one of each color, that no matter which one we pick they all lead to the same end.

I was going to post that the "joke" should have been in citadel dlc, but it seems my memory is failing me. :(

Oh well,  I'll google it to refresh my memory.
