Bioware sucks when it comes to hairstyles.

Fallout defaults are still better though.

I'm actually kind of surprised.. because they're known for crappy characters.. but I like the basic template there. It's a good looking game in all respects, given that it's the same engine. Too bad that Skyrim remaster probably won't adapt this.. I suspect it's environmental improvements only.

Fallout 4 is a great-looking game (only their mouth movements are a little strange sometimes), especially when compared to the older ones. Their hair styles were never super great, although still arguably better than ME/DA, but they improved. So BioWare better take note. ;) Fallout also has hair physics, which is nice but not a requirement for me. For such a massive game that isn't cinematic-cut-scene oriented, that's pretty impressive.

I have bad dreams of Bioware trying to cut my hair. It can't go on.
Their hair has to change. it HAS to. For blissful undisturbed sleep's sake.
We are surrounded by people with great hair; Cassandra, Josephine, Dorian, even Sera ( her hair is great though), and here is our Inquisitor or Commander with a weird... thing.... On their head. It's almost like the uncanny valley of hairs.

And Cullen -- his hair is widely admired. (Sometimes I wonder if all the comments about his hair in DAI -- or anyone's -- along with how Varric calls him "Curly" is BioWare's way of somehow poking fun at themselves? :P)

Oh god, the Hair People are back.

I  guess they will keep coming back until bioware creates some decent looking hair.. which will be the release of andromeda *hopes*, or more realistically: never *hopes not, covers behind something in fear*

Yes, yes they can, unfortunately. We've had this same thread before every game release. Thousands of posts about hair that bioware ignores.

I'm not even asking for long hair. Just give me some stylish updos. Give us something more than slicked back buns and ponytails. Make the updos attractive with details like braiding and escaped bits of hair. Avoid receding hairlines. The braided style in DAI was pretty except for the stupid hairline.

Wait, what am I doing? This will fall on deaf ears.

I still want hair physics on top of everything you've put in here... but I'd settle for what you've put in here if I have too.  Unfortunately, I do think bad hair has become too much of a Bioware trademark... Still, we live in hope and "hope is all there is.' (Eve - ME3)

For the most part, the hair choices in Mass Effect have suited the PC's personality and role in the setting.

Besides, weren't there more hair options in ME3 than the previous games? Given that, it seems possible there will be more hair options in ME:A. None the less, it's doubtful BioWare could satisfy such a diverse crowd even if significant resources were set to the task. As long as there are options that suit the character and setting there doesn't seem to be a need to overly focus on and gratify what seems an extraneous narcissistic desire that could compromise the cogency of the PC characterization and other aspects of the game in fulfilling it.

Maybe there could be hair DLC. $5 for a few hairdos with a 5% charm/intimidate bonus. Takers?

I mean hey, enough of us poke fun at Bioware, Bioware might as well get in on it too, eh?

I do miss Cullen's noodle hair though. I wanted to eat his old hair, as opposed to run my fingers through it.

BW needs to hire fashion designers and hair stylists because their clothing styles suck just as much as the hair.

What ME3 did sort of right: I could give my femShep purpleish/pinkinsh/iridescent hair rather than just "natural" tones.

What DAI did sort of right: all hair styles are available for either gender. No, I don't need a 20 variants of shaved/bald, but that flexibility was pretty awesome to me. now if we could just make them all better

If Fallout hair was able to improve, then maybe there is hope...

We're not just talking about femshep and no they didn't do it right.

Dude, I said "sort of right" meaning still mostly wrong. Obviously a maleShep should've had those options too.   ;)

Who wouldn't? Bioware maybe.. maybe they have nightmares of "hair people" trying to get (and eat (probably)) them.

Why not compare ME: Andromeda with another Frostbite game

Mirror's Edge Character's hair is very good example to what can be done in Frostbite Engine, it is not the best, but at least is better than hair in DA:I

Well, the hairstyle in the picture seems a lot better than most of biowares recent hairstyle creations.

I'm more thinking of varric in space.. you need his armour though, for your chest hair to shine.

How bout casual wear. Any woman, ANY who says chest hair isn't sexy is a Liar. The sexiest men alive have all had chest hair. David Hasselhoff, Chuck Norris, etc.

No they aren't. Different cultures find different things attractive. Some cultures find chest hair attractive, others don't. And it goes even further with each individual of that culture liking or disliking certain traits.

Meh. I can take or leave chest hair. But, keep the fur suits away!

And, I don't think Norris or Hasselhoff are sexy. I see why some people find them attractive but they don't do it for me.

I like short hair too, but these character creation based games need a lot of options to be worth it imo. Like a Tony Hawk game or sports game. It's strange that many RPGs are gimped. Some mmos are OK. Dragon's Dogma was cool, as far as single player ones go.

If they're not gonna do that, then I'd just prefer a default with a lot of detail.. like a Hawke or Sheploo.

Male Shepard playthroughs are always with Sheploo because he's the only Shep that looks good. Femshep is always terrible.

That's your dumb opinion and however wrong it may be........it's wrong but point is I hate playing as default. You just have to spend a couple days perfecting customization. My shep always looks better than default but not completely cause bioware is ignorant when it comes to customization. And what's wrong with femshep?
