Have used it from time to time. The dumbest thing ever is Valkyrie - Reegar platinum party on Glacier.

I use this abomination of a weapon on the Volus Sentinel with Incendiary ammo 4 and shotgun amp 3; the weakest character in the game with the most broken weapon. 
I like how it can destroy most enemies in a split second using like three shots.

I use it sometimes in solos and when I'm in a mood to pug platinum. Which does not happen very often. Platinum pugs can be vicious, so IMO, its use is justified.
Otherwise, yes, it is an abomination among the guns. All other guns are mostly reasonable. This one may trivialize the game.

Honestly? I feel like a high-level particle rifle does a better job overall than the Reegar. Melts bosses on gold with one shot, but also can go long-range!
Some love it because it's OP, some most hate it because it's OP. It's always the same story with weapons like reegar, lolcolyte, venom, carrier... Strangely weapons just as broken (black widow, talon, arc pistol...) but that require a bit more skill don't get as much hate

Nah, the reetard carbine is on a level of borkedness of its own. There is nothing like it in any game, lol.
The other guns you mentioned aren't nearly as borked. They might be slightly too powerful, but they aren't broken.
The only truly broken gun is the lolreetard.
I can't say I feel the same way.
By the time someone has started Reegar-ing a Marauder, it'll be at low enough health that by the time I scope in on it, a single shot from a Viper will kill it dead. Oh, and big guys? Like an Atlas? All the Reegar can do is soften it up for a final shot from my Javelin.
