Found a good build guide for him recently:Ahh okay, haven't tried that one yet.
I say 'recently', the video's been out for ages now.

Just make sure that you don't start to follow his example with running around spawn nuking everything in sight, that is highly annoying on Platinum and on Gold where he's doing his videos it's just silly to "speed up the waves".
I recently discovered Bunky's vids myself. He's a more aggressive player than me though.
He shares my views on Cerberus being the most BS faction too. Collectors are just buttholes, Cerberus are cheating buttholes.

The Reegar does tend to be one of my least used shotguns.
It's not that I don't like it - I enjoy killing enemies with an electric blast that dissolves them - but it does, as the videos show, tend to make a mockery of pretty much everything in the game, especially on the classes you'd want to use it on to make up for its limited range (ie; vanguards and infiltrators).
I wasted time sorting weapons by their "damage to weight appropriateness" and the Reegar only ended up as 4th most overpowered.

I can give you a much shorter and to the point guide on him:
Dakka.
Besides, the guy's using a Destroyer without a Brophoon, and that means he's a scrub. Don't follow that advice.

Yeah well, if "damage to weight" was a good indicator for a weapon's balance level, that would mean something I guess.
But it's not XD

Not sure what you mean, if the guns were balanced there would be no reason to look at anything.
For the PRS system to work, the weapons would indeed need to be balanced with the idea that "power" to weight ratio is relatively consistent. I just made a stand in for power... I did not just divide DPS / weight.
edit: if you just do sustained DPS/weight then Reegar is number 1... but Predator is number 2.
If you rank by capn factor it goes Acolyte, Arc Pistol, Talon, Reegar. Not a list of most powerful necessarily, it is a list of least balanced towards the OP direction.

IMO if you are planning to use the PPR as the Destroyers primary weapon, then I prefer Hawk Missile Launcher over Multi Frags. In his hands the PPR is almighty destruction, you do so much damage it's better if you don't have to stop your ramped up beam to shoot grenades and the HML staggers a decent amount of problematic enemies, or gets them to enter their defensive animations

Funny ^^^^^^^^^^^^ I was checking out one of Invader's "guides" earlier today and he was spawn nuking on waves 2 and 4 on gold in a full team game in his " how to play a character correctly " video....it was sad.

I can't decide which faction is more broken, to be honest.
It's a tie between them all, that's why I insist on Unknown Enemy lobbies.
Ah, gotcha, thought you were just talking dps/weight, which as you showed doesn't mean anything. I should have guessed Reegar would have still been #1 in that, tho XD
Really what I am talking about doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme either. ![]()

So I actually gave the Reegar a serious try in a Gold PUG today, and.... it really is laughably overpowered. I decided to try it without using an OP character, so I tried it on the Batarian Sentinel with Incendiary Ammo III or IV (can't remember). I didn't use any Shotgun Amp or gear that increases weapon damage. Of course, I had a mid-game disconnect from the EA servers in about Wave 6 or 7. But up until that point, I was exceeding the total points of all 3 other PUGs put together, I had not used a single consumable, and I think I was only health gated a single time and maybe had my shield gate broken a half dozen times or less. I mean, it helped that my Batarian Sentinel has maxed shield recharge (like a second or something), and it helped that the map was Glacier, but still. And I'm not really all that great of a player.

I watched his video on Valkyrie and that was it. I mean, good choice of weapon, going with Raider, but...
Skipping Warp? You serious bruh?

Ah sorry I'm afraid I never recorded anything on the Destroya. And I'm not going to now, for sure... But in short, what you do is skip the HML, equip the Brophoon and adrenaline modules, carpet bomb spawns with multifrags, then find a right hand advantage position, start mowing things down with your superior Dakka, and pretty much never stop until everything is dead.

Lol are you serious? He skips warp? That's like...

Obviously you don't do that. I meant the general build for the character is quite helpful.

That's alright, I will try your suggestion out. I bet it's not easy but I will definitely give it a shot. Thank you ![]()

Well yeah, I guess it's not that easy for a new player. As a general rule, power-intensive setups are easier to get the hang of, since they mostly stun/ragdoll/provide CC. Using a gun platform effectively requires some more experience with positioning, spatial awareness, and aiming. But they also, in turn, teach you a lot about those things, and are in general very worth getting the hang of, even if just for learning purposes.
However, the Destroyer has above average shields (though you really need to feed him an adrenaline III, so that means his shields are going to be somewhat lower than another average kit with a cyclonic IV), complete immunity to stagger, and a very good panic button (multifrags), so it's easier to play than other weapon platforms like, say, the Quarksman. He also has an incredible damage output and couldn't care less about cooldowns, so by all means bring a secondary along that allows you to handle situations which might be too hard for you at the start, like phantom squad bum rushes. A Venom works very fine in that regard, or even an acolyte if you don't have one. I mean, that'd be quite the blasphemy, but I guess we could forgive you if you're newish ![]()
