Everyone should LOVE the Reegar Carbine and it's not cheesing if you're a noob, just saying!!!!

The Reegar have it's use, very powerful on some kits on platinum and overkill on all kits on gold and below (especially with Incendiary ammo).

I use it now and then on the Kroguard and Batguard for platinum pugs and the occasional gold pug that I start not knowing what will land in my game once it's started when I'm doing the Biotic charge challenge.

I don't have anything against it, it have helped me a lot in some of my solos, especially when I started out.

It's great on Juggy.  Best point defence weapon ever on him.  He can't exactly run away so he may as well melt stuff.

 

It's at best a secondary on all but tanky vanguards.  As long as you have incendiary ammo you don't even need amps.

i use the reeger on bronze, in a full lobby.

 

also i got outscored by my reeger in a bronze solo, but good thing it was there the reeger clutched the rest of the game after i bled out.

I use it in Gold games because all my other weapons are trash.

 

I'll stop using it after I get a lvl 10 UR gun, promise.

It is fun using it on Valkyrie.

It's overkill on some kits that's for sure. I wouldn't recommend it for those seeking a decent challenge on gold and platinum

Like I said.  It's a great secondary.

Two guns? Then your siege pulse cool downs are shot, you must be using one of those boring gun-and-turret-only builds

I use the Reegar Carbine as my main weapon and then the Arc Pistol as my second, seems to work out great that way.

I do that on turian havoc, cooldowns are decent because the guns are still light enough and you get really filthy damage at both long and short ranges
