Yeah, pretty much.
I've always thought that Hawke should have had a secret identity, actually. Like, maybe they're Serah Amell publicly, but secretly they're also "The Hawke" and have adventures. At least, it would help explain how Mage Hawke gets away with the whole apostate thing.
