BSN is populated by many people with a significant amount of hours played. And the GI is the ultimate reward for those with many vested hours. Seriously, the more you play this game, the more OP the GI becomes.

There are plenty of people here with kits they pretty clearly prefer over GI, man. And if enough of them have overlapping opinions, he may well lose.

As an individual kit, the GI still has the way largest chance though

 

Edit: Also, those overlapping opinions better be supporting the same kit, otherwise those 'hipster' votes will be split among various kits, and no individual other kit will have enough support

By far the hardest one was Puggernaut vs AIU. I couldn't decide which of those scrublord kits I hated most.

In the Alliance Infiltration Unit vs Geth Juggernaut one I went for the Juggernaut...

... I mean... hes a big death robot... she can turn invisible sure but hes like immortal...

 

... im fairly sure it would just end up with the Juggernaut meleeing the Alliance Infiltration Unit over and over and over again and she would just keep standing up but still... id say Juggernaut for size and immortality and the fact he has a little friend who helps him and heals him also so it would kinda be 2 v 1

Yeah, I hate the AIU for exactly those reasons. At least the Juggernaut has its own playstyle (and requires some ability for a player who actually wants to participate in the mission). Power creep makes me unhappy.

Idk, there's definitely an overwhelming consensus that GI is the most effective kit, but I suspect most people are voting based on what they like, and I'm not aware of any consensus that the GI is the most fun kit. If we were taking bets I'd probably put my money on a kit like the Valkyrie or Drell Adept that people seem to really enjoy playing even if they aren't strictly the most effective from a straight DPS  or TTK standpoint (though its not like either is a slouch, obviously... just not quite on GI's level, which is true for most any kit).

I don't even know that GI's the most effective. The Cain spamming Merc is fuckin' disgusting. You may as well missile glitch.
