I think your point system is not really good : 2 points for a 54/19 or a 38/35 is really problematic   . Maybe u should only keep the ratio?  

I would just add ratio of the successive rounds.

For the second round, did u just draw among 3s, then among 2s, and so one, or is it a more sophisticated pairing ?

Well, in basketball you only have "win" (2 points) or "lose" (1 point), no matter the winning margin. No system is perfect
