This is just a proof that equal opinion leads to bad decisions. I mean the QME can indefinitely detonate with that gnades/ incinerate  - It's almost impossible not wreck havoc - and no aiming is even required.

 

in retrospect - We should've built in some tests to check if people simply made random votes (ie a later round but with same characters pairs --> high variance means pure coincidental voting)

Makes sense. People simply vote subjectively. One step further I would bet the scar on my forehead , that you wouldnt get the same result if the same people were to recast the vote for day 1 (with similiar pairings). Separate vote- Can we bet that some have whitenoise opinions, and bitcoin to underwrite it?

Hilarious is not a word I would choose to describe this choice. Worst RNG pairing of the entire process for me. 

 

The human pairings were much easier - all my females are specced for melee so they all won. The sound of women exerting themselves is more pleasing to my ear

64 characters in combinations of 2 (Pairing). Gives 2016 combinations to match every character uniquely with one another.

You have matched 160 pairs (5 runs) to date - so 1856 still to go. hehe. That is 58 additional Trials that needs to be done.
Nyquist-Shannon Sampling theory says 1/2B - so you have to at least do 1008 pairs (32 Trials) to make a statistically correct statement, (that is, ofc, if you ever wanted to make a statement)

Some pattern looks very familiar from the stats you released above. But don't tell anyone.



Some titbit : A full lobby (4 characters) can have 635376 different variations (non repetitve) of characters (position independent). Now, it would be a consolation if someone can show how many weapon+characters+power configuration variations exists (on a loaded* L20 character ) in a full lobby, but there are not enuf russians (higher math capable) playing this game. So I'll just sit and sulk in this corner. Dissapointed or ill at place.

I won't be running the full round-robin tournament. The theory on Swiss system says that to objectively (enough) determine three winners from 64 participants, 8 rounds are enough, so I'll probably stop at that

Some interesting results, fairly amazed that the Quarian Marksman soldier is so low on the rung.  He has some great abilities that are especially helpful on the higher difficulties.

Whilst the swiss system is good to identify strong favourites or unpopular characters it jumbles the midrange.

So from your stats to date it plainly means that the GI and TS are popular and the talon mercenary unpopular. The order of the rest is a jumble and can be ignored for all other purposes.
