When learning abilities there are two smaller diamond shapes that let you upgrade. I can only seem to highlight one of the diamonds and not the other. What gives?

Do you have Trespasser installed? The option to switch between the upgrades comes with that DLC

When learning abilyird there are two smaller diamond shapes that let you upgrade. I can only seem to highlight one of the diamonds and not the other. What gives?
It's either/or, not both at the same time.
BUT you can switch the upgrade whenever you want. (outside of a fight)

One thing I did find out recently-if you go offline during a game-you lose the ability to toggle the Trespasser upgrades. You have to save and log in again to to get the toggle back.
